--------
It pisses me off because I've FC'd this part about 4 times in runs where I missed in Aggro Part or Mosh Solo, but whenever I FC up to here I ALWAYS miss. Basically I just need to find the most consistent method, because I'm the type of player who uses the HOPO's for strumming sections (Grinding Scales, Monsters, Six etc.), but whenever I try to use the HOPO's here I usually don't change frets fast enough or I under-strum. Whenever I just try and I strum all of it I just get lucky, no skill involved. So do you guys suggest I stick with strumming it all or using the HOPO's? _________________

Stick with what you're most consistent with, so I would definitely just strum it all. It's insanely fast so I think using the HO/PO would be kind of awkward anyway. |

Definitely strum it all. Once you find out what speed the notes are at (triplet 16ths) it's not that hard to FC.
It's a lot like the descending note strums at the beginning and end of Solo Bridge on One, it's hard to do because of the overstrumming but it's weird to try to use the HOPO's. _________________

I guess you have to alt-strum this time. I hate alt-strumming but there's no other way. _________________

....?
Alt strum this part and hope for the best, it's almost too fast to count. If you can't stay perfectly on time, slower is better here because with the timing window and the HOPOs to make up for it, you have a better chance of hitting it. Remember to fret at the right time too. |

Abuse the timing window a bit take each color as its own section. so it does not seem as daunting. |

I've been trying to FC F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. and I can hit the fast strumming part 100% of the time but the aggro part is the part I can't do for some reason. I say stick with strumming the whole damn thing. Personally, I find using HOPOs in strumming is WAY too difficult, but that's just me.
Regardless, use whichever YOU feel you are best with. |
