Okay this is weird. I imported a lot of songs into GHTCP that I had on GZ.

Tey were ogg files. However here's a weird situation.

I cannot import anything audowse now. Music Track Processing always fails.

My mp3's settings are 44.1KHz at 128KBps.
I'm culeless on he ogg settings for the songs that do work.

Anyways. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem.

I tried importing some oggs with the mass importer, and every one of them failed. So, diligently, and lengthly, I send each mp3 through audacity to change them to the proper mp3 format. (something I have NEVER had problems with).

low and behold... nothing. they all fail. I have yet to try an mp3 that I know imports properly, but if the above poster is correct, I may be a wee bit upset if my control panel doesn't work anymore after this.

I will try a song I have already imported and see if it works.

All formats failed.
CBR mp3's, oggs, 16 bit waves, you name it, Hell, even songs I had loaded before, under different names, failed.

I'm not sure what the dealis. It worked all night long lastnight, but all day today/tonight, it wouldn't work for anything.

Still having this problem myself. I've tried every format which is supposed to be supported and none of them will convert.

I found atemporary solution.

1 you must have both GHTCP and GH3 PC Editor.
2. make a copy of your DATA folder in the Gh3 directry and put it elsewhere on your computer. (Mine's in the root of C
3. In GHTCP: Upload the song like you always did, process and watch the music track fail
4. in GH3PCE: Open your newly created Data folder (the one that I mentioned is in my C: Root directory). Add a new song and be sure the song/filename is the same as it was in GHTCP (This s critical or you'll get no sound). You can use any random mid file, don't bother filling in artist/title information. Just a a a blah. finish creating the song, bon't gbother saving changes, and just close the program.
5. Go to the cloned DATA directory, look in the MUSIC folder and copy the 2 files with teh song title that you created. Paste them in the actual corresponding folder in the GH3 directory.
6 Go play.

All ifo comes from thn GHTCP input. The reason for GH3PCE is to just create the song .dat.xen and fsb.xen

NOTE: I'm running on Vista x64 so this may be very helpful for those taht can't get it to work on 64 bit systems. I like GHTCP's savepatch featre. Plus the ability to add songs do the dlc folder. Very elpful.

I also had the same problem.
I tried importing several oggs with the bulk importer, and each of them failed
