Song hangs with 1.3 patch (Help)

Hello I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and is there a way to fix it. After adding the 1.3 patch anywhere in a song it will just hang then start again very fast so that you can not hit any notes. This sucks on my end because I can not use the new control panal max has released. the game runs fine with out the patch by the way. Here is my computer specs incase anyone wants to know that the reason. I think my mobo should run this game with out flaw..

xcellerator, are you using Max's CP when trying to play the game and it does this? You could try using the Speed Boost in the CP and that should take care of any graphical problems such as this. Or you could just apply the Front Row Camera view and see if that works for you, if you don't want to have a black background. You could also try updating the drivers for your graphics card, as it is likely a problem with your GPU (as opposed to your mobo).
