Times R4G3 has jinxed the Lions: 2
Since the season is underway now I thought it was appropriate to make this thread. What are your guys predictions, favorite teams, favorite players, games you're looking forward to, etc. Basically anything related to the NFL should go here. (I hope there isn't a thread about this already)
Edit: I personally don't have a favorite team, I just bash on the Jets and Giants to piss my friends off You should've heard me at the Super Bowl party lol.

PM ME IF YOU WANT TO BE INCLUDEED IN THE OP

PM me if you want to be added to this list. Or you can include it on a bottom of a CONTRIBUTIVE post. I don't want this thread cluttered with posts like I LIEK TEH GIANTS or whatever. I know that people have stated their favorite teams in this thread but I'm not going to scour through 20 pages to find them. Also, feel free to tell me about typos, misspellings of people's names, how to format the OP better, or anything else

I'm absolutely stoked to spend my Sundays, Mondays, and the occasional Thursdays and Saturdays, yelling at my TV every time some asshole on my opponent's fantasy team goes off on me. I'm looking at you, Brian Westbrook, Earnest Graham, Ben Worthlessburger...etc.

Going to be a good season! GO PACK!

I honestly don't think the Packers will do that great year. I mean, do you honestly think Aaron Rodgers can lead this team? I don't.

Considering that Aaron Rodgers can't even walk to his front door without hurting himself, I'd say that's a pretty accurate assessment. I know this because I delivered pizza to his house once. He slipped, then gave me a 10 dollar tip.

And also, Lions suck. Bringing in Rudi Johnson sealed their fate; they should've stuck with the battering ram that is Kevin Smith.

I don't see that happening. My pick? San Francisco. Because there's only one worse QB than Alex Smith; and it isn't JT O'Sullivan. That would be Rex Grossman.

*resists joke*

My favorite teams are the Vikings and Saints. This results in a quandary come October 6th or whenever it is these two teams play against each other. Odds are I'll support the Vikings, if only because I live in MN now, and hope that Brees puts up a huge game since he's on my fantasy team. I also have McAllister, but I wouldn't start him for very obvious reasons.

I think the Vikings will do well, assuming Tarvaris Jackson plays at the same level he's been playing in this preseason. The pass defense/rush also needs to step up, and we have the personnel to do it. I feel they have as much a shot as the Pack does at taking the NFC North. Kind of assumes Aaron Rodgers remains healthy, because I doubt the backups will fare well if they have to play.

I lol at the thought of the Lions going 10-6. But stranger things have happened.

The only team that has stepped onto Invesco field in the past month has been the Colorado Buffs.

I'm a cowboys fan, not too into Football though.

As a lion homer, I disagree wholeheartedly. I expect Kevin smith to get 70-75% of the carries, with rudi only getting 25%.

Not only this, but the secondary is greatly approved. The addition of Leigh Bodden, a young stud corner, and all the young guys along the defensive line,(we kept 11 d-lineman WTF?), the defense should be greatly improved.

Not to mention Calvin Johnson, who should a big sophomore year.

I predict 8-8 for the lions this year.

Giants repeat anyone?

Reporting on the first game, I liked the Giants' defense. The defense seemed to hold up without Strahan or Osi. Even though the Redskins aren't that good, it is a good sign. One thing I didn't like was there were a lot of penalties against the Giants. Luckily, the Skins never really capitalized, but better teams will.
