I lol'd at the Pull Me Under comment. It certainly will NOT be the hardest song in the game.

Also, The Satch Boogie LOLYCRAP section looked a little too simple for what is actually being played... though that may turn out to be a good thing in the end xD

That comment comes from someone who has never heard the song, but has heard enough Dream Theater to know the kind of crazy shit they do. So if the assumption is wrong, so be it, but the fact that it wasn't in the setlist is reason to raise and eyebrow.

Well we can discount that theory now, right?

It's certainly a lot simpler than the hard portion of DT's tracklist.

You can hit star notes while in starpower now? Is it like Rock Band and adds to your starpower you already used, or do you get to use it after your original starpower runs out?

I just saw it in the video of the Satch Boogie battle.

I'll add more thoughts later, but I must say that Ozzy looks really good in that one picture.

No Standard Solo Tour AND Quickplay is stupid?

Dammit, first RB2 and now this.

But apart from that, it looks pretty ace, if not a little confusing. Hopefully some stuff can be changed before the game is released.

But anyway, as to Pull Me Under.

Hardest Guitar Track? I doubt it.

Hardest Full Band Track? Suddenly, it makes a bit more sense. It's Dream Theater, so drums will be killer, as will Bass. LaBrie's vocals will probably be difficult to emulate, so that's another one...then you add the guitar in the mix, and it all makes sense. We have TTFAF for the whole band.

Except it's good.

In Prisoner Of Society near the end there are like chords with the hold notes and a note between them.

WTF?

DO IT AGAIN- So Epic.

I have a question to ask about this. Do you guys think that GHWT is leaps and bounds better than GH3? Or are there aspects that are better in each respective game? By reading the Wiki, it sounds like there is a lot more negatives then there are positives...

Yeah, it's actually one of the easier DT songs, IMO.

I mean, something like the Dark Eternal Night, Fatal Tragedy, the Dance of Eternity (screw vocals), Metropolis Pt. 1, Under a Glass Moon, or the Glass Prison would be OMGWTFHAX to everyone. Especially the Glass Prison. That song is INSANE.

Pull Me Under is still a great song, but for difficulty, there are many better choices.

"Regardless of your multiplier, or hard you hit the drums, every hit is worth 1 point."
I thought in the video of Phr34k playing Hot for Teacher, he had a 4x and every freestyle hit was worth 4 points for him.

Pull Me Under shouldn't be all that difficult but it should be challenging. It's definitely in the lower rungs of DT songs they could have chosen, but it'll still be an alright band song, hopefully. Vocals should get a workout too.
GH3 Custom: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=zdzWnsbMDk0

Reading the preview, it's quite negative. Music Studio is wholly dissapointing, the Band UI/Rock meter/failure system sounds frustrating, menu and song list are confusing, among others.
