Running x64

I'm running Windows XP 64-bit Edition. Is that almost like having Vista? Everything else I have is fine..

Technically its not. However, if this is in reference to GHex, then it probably won't run, because it was not compiled to run on a 64-bit machine, and probably uses Win32 API calls.

As far as I know, 32-bit executables generally run fine in 64-bit Windows on x64, it's drivers that are segregated. I don't personally run 64-bit Windows, tho, so I can't say for sure. It's also my understanding that 16-bit executables won't run at all.
