Are these two re-burning the game disc, or exploiting how it searches for DLC by putting the songs on the SD card?

right now its just trying to figure out the basics, we are not even close at this point to actually modifying them and putting them back on the wii. I would suspect that burning will come first, because the process will be similar to gh3, and then when we get that figured out, the dlc will come.

GameZelda said that he is almost done writing up the specs on the new an format. Once those specs are released you can expect it won't be long Untill conversion tools (chart2qb and qb2chart) kind of tools are released as well. Then usroms will be easier to make. Like it was said above, custom dis a will certainly happen before custom dlc happens.

For those of you who cannot/will not contribute to the solution, remember that it took about 2 months to get a stable method to make gh3 customs. So give it a bit of time.

I posted the GHWT .mid.qb specs a few days ago, but no one seemed to care but tma, who made the guitar charts for Slowhero.

And about the audio, it is in the BIK, right? So no problems to make it.

And BTW, I think that it would be better to make in-disc customs first, since it looks like they protected it, so if you try to do it with the DLC, you can't tell if it failed because of incorrect files, or because of some check

yes and no.

In the last 2 weeks we(2 other people besides me) have been able to reinstall the wads successfully. However, modifying these files has been difficult.

(also, because of the way it is laid out, it seems that rock band 2 will have customs before ghwt)

Is it now possible to now extract audio from WT? I really would like an instrumental and acapella of some songs on here that aren't available anywhere else.

EDIT: In Particular, I'm looking for all the individual tracks of Eye of the Tiger and Beat It.

Thanks for any info!

Doubt it, we still can't figure out the bik format

As soon as I can figure out how to convert mp3 to BIK, I'll inject a song into World Tour DLC.

hello,
go to
http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

and download the first tool
http://www.radgametools.com/down/Bink/RADTools.exe
and install it.

then select the mp3 in the file browser and hit the "Bink it!" -> there you go.

looking forward to see a custom song in GHWT. ;)
