So yeah, I wonder how many songs that have drum fill sections, and a list of them if it's possible.

Kinda off topic but I dont want to start a new thread.

Do the fills have a cap on how many points you can gain per second? Or is it just hit as fast as you can to get as many points as possible?

Also, can the other band members hear what is being played in the drum fills?

Fills have point cap?
No (at least I've never hit one that's noticable... if there is it's REALLY high, I got 11k pts from the Schism break)

online people hear fills?
Yes, I'm almost certain... I know you can hear the fills in Pro Face Off at least.

If anyone has time on their hands, 5 sets of sticks and four friends willing to test the drum fill cap...

Make sure you go into the fill at 4x, Use SP and have everyone flail like a mother fucker on a pad.

Don't forget maybe an extra bass pedal and two people to jump on that. LOL

But I remember someone saying on an Xbox 360, just pressing ABXY really quickly also counts in the drum fill. This doesn't work on the Wii though (figures).

Based on the fact that I flailed on the buttons for the entire of the schism break and at no point did it cap itself, if there IS a cap, it's so high that it's worthless.

i was just wondering how points are accumulated during drum fills such as

do all hits count the same (i.e. do the orange pad and bass pedal count for more?)
does multiplier have an effect?
do you get more pads if you hit all 5 pads and the bass or just the same pad the whole time?

1 point for each hit. Doesn't matter what pad or anything, whatever you can hit the most. Then you factor in the multiplier, so its 1 points per hit at 1x multiplier, 2 pts per hit at 2x multiplier, etc. If you can hit the same pad faster than you can hit two pads, then go for it. But I'm pretty sure you always want to have your foot going on the bass.

this could be considered cheating (at least i do..), but you can get pretty high scores on fills by hitting the red and green pads on downstroke and then hitting the underside of yellow and orange on the upstroke.

I have my right hand hitting green/orange and my left on blue do Visions-style blasts.

Avoid accidentally using SP with the cymbals, though. I haven't seen too many advantageous fills where it's in the middle of the song and I don't have SP.

@ Azerach: That would definitely not be considered cheating. You are still hitting the pads with the drum sticks.

I have a question: would hitting the bass pedal with any part of your body besides your foot be cheating.

the way to go is to mash the buttons lol. i get like 5 times as many points by throwing my stick to my left hand and hitting yelow and red, kicking the pedal, and mashing the buttons with my right hand.

I think it's like vocals just activate at the end of the fill after mashing it for a while to max the score and hopefully reach a point cap

Drum fills are audible during online play at all times in GHWT. I'm pretty sure as long as you use part of your body for hitting the drums, noe of it is cheating. One thing I do on my Rock Band set is hit the red and yellow pads with my left stick simultaneously while hitting the blue and green pads with the right stick, all while keeping a constant bass pedal beat. This helps to accumulate points during fills.
