A chord on guitar would be equivalent to hitting two pads on drums, what you have is a sustain. I think I heard that for the sustain you just have to hit the pad 3 times every second (or 1.5 seconds, can't remember). It's not insanely fast at all, most people can do it very easily. Just keep hitting the pad until the end to keep getting points. _________________

Ive been messing around with a few of those sustains, make sure you dont keep hitting it towards the end--It almost always overdrums for me _________________

Yeah - as soon as you miss them, if you keep hitting the pad it'll register as misses, so drop your rock meter. very annoying...twould be nice if hitting a missed sustain wouldn't cost you anything _________________

They're alright to me, but to be honest, I don't see the need for them. Can't they just chart the roll? _________________

Because they see it as out of tempo when they just hit the pads like that. It's usually towards endings when drummers just flail, so let them just flail and not fail because the real drummer flailed more madly. |

When you have a chord sustain on drums, you have to hit both pads together on the first beat, then you can alternate them until the end of a sustain. _________________

Yeah, you mean garbage like Wanted Dead or Alive's outro? Or how about all those cymbal swells that are totally un-charted in Panic Attack (or the one that's a two-handed swell on two crash cymbals that's charted as two spaced out green notes...).
Sustains for randomness that can't be subdivided within reason make perfect sense (like the Overkill ending snare spam... yeah right). _________________
