So interesting story. Despite having the two weeks to do league songs, I ended up just doing all 4 songs on Friday (local time, which equates to 2 days ago for everybody else). Managed to get the new FC in HFoB, reFCed Guitar Hero fairly quickly but 200 shy of my high, got a pretty damn good score on Killer Queen (well, for me, I managed to get all the squeezes, but FUCK ticking, I don't get it...), and not really that good a score on FIU. I could never hit both trills in the same run, which was really my aim, but never even got that.
Well, playoffs are now upon us. Good luck to all that make the playoffs (obviously we're still currently in the wait and see phase). To all others, hopefully this season has brought about some awesome improvements in your scores and whatnot. _________________

Slight increase pointwise on Killer Queen, Guitar Hero, and Heart Full of Black, while Fire it Up got a nice boost. Didn't get a huge amount of points from reduxing all these songs which I've grinded before. _________________

The only score I'm happy with this week(s) is HFoB lol.
My FiU score was terrible >_> _________________

I managed to FC everything but FiU so this was week was pretty good even though I didn't really squeeze HFoB and GH _________________

I'm really happy with my Guitar Hero and HFoB scores (got both of them on vid too, GH's up now and HFoB will probably be up later tonight). Managed to get all the squeezes I wanted on each of them. I honestly don't remember how I did on Killer Queen since I did that song really early and never got back to it, but I think I did okay. I also did somewhat okay on FiU. Of the three hard parts of the song, I missed one in the middle of the first part, bombed the second part as usual, but I FCed the third part under sp, and I FCed everything else with the correct sp. _________________

Got the GH FC finally which was sweet, Rev's advice made it so much easier.
Overall though I think I realized I don't have enough motivation to grind out crazy squeezes. However, I did FC 4 new songs and increased my scores for all 16. I think I got a couple hundred thousand increase total which was pretty good. Think I could have done better on a few, but if I don't make the playoffs, oh well it was fun.
Grats to all who got those shiny new FC's. _________________

for GH3 Expert Playoffs are we allowed to see our opponents score so we know a good score to aim for? |

I think you're posting in the wrong thread. This is the GH1 Expert Thread.
To answer your question, that ruins the point of playoffs. :P
You're supposed to get the best score you can on the song without knowing anything about your opponent's score. See the original post of any certain league thread for more information on that. _________________

(I guess that means I won't get to play... ) | Not necessarily. Many times in the past people haven't submitted in the first round of playoffs, so I suggest that you submit a score. You never know, you might see yourself going all the way!
Hooray for not having to play Sharp Dressed Man. If I recall, my comment on the song currently says "fuck squeezing this shit". And interestingly enough, Brock and I get to once more tango in a league playoff. He and I have come a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way, so it'll be fun to see what song is picked and just how round 2 goes for us ^_^ _________________

This, but mostly because I wouldn't dare play it again after all the time I spent trying to get a good score on it months ago.

Boy have we ever. And with my luck there'll be some glitch in the system forcing us to play Six on hard . Certainly not as epic as when we play in the finals, but still awesome nonetheless. Thinking back, have I ever knocked you out during playoffs? I don't think I have, so I think this is a good time to turn it around . _________________
