I Considered buying a PS3 but the price in europe is a ripoff, the backwardscompatibility is a joke and the games are mostly "meh". |

Yeah, and Target they have 1 you can play, 4 in the glass display, and like, 4 in the back, they've yet to sell one since it came out  .
Gamestop on the other hand has sold 3, but still have 2 availble  .
The PS3 craze was so funny. They tried to sell them on eBay, and like 3 days later, everyone was like "Oh shit, these things are worthless"
People were selling them on Bismanonline (regional eBay) for like $400 just to get SOME of their money back, they didnt even want the things, they would rather take a loss.

I was in my local EB yesterday getting a DS for my nephew for his B-day next week (yay for my EB being the regional leader in DS hardware sales, and getting not 1, but 3 Onyx DS's out of their shipment of 20), and the manager, who knows me (and my thoughts on the PS3) well, mentioned that if he didn't sell one for the rest of the day yesterday, it would be 10 days since the last time he sold one. This is a store in a heavily trafficked mall, that sells piles of hardware, regional DS leader, haven't had a Wii in stock for more than an hour since release, sells 20+ 360s a week... and hasn't sold a single PS3 in ten days.

People who want FF13 and FFv13 (horrible name, I'm sorry).
I hate being in the whole PS3 isn't worth it / PS3 sucks crew, but I really feel like it. Every week Sony makes me want to buy a PS3 less and less. My $600 has a better place to be and Sony makes me think that more and more. I mean seriously, Home? Is that an absolute joke?
But in the end, you can get almost all the PS3 "exclusives" (since they aren't now) and all the Nintendo and Microsoft ones for the price of the PS3. That is worth way more than a couple PS3 exclusives. |

I was talking to my friend yesterday, he got a PS3 on launch.
Me: "So what are you playing?"
Him: "The only game I have is Sonic"
Me: "And it's not as good as the Mega-Drive ones right?"
Him:"Yeah."
Me: "I'm playing DQVIII right now."
Him: "I wish I could play DQ, I traded in my PS2. =("
