Wow, the chains they used to replace Rob's braids are creative. Nice work there, Neversoft 
Well, I've got so much going on at school this week that it's really flying by, unlike the week before Rock Band 2 that felt like a month, then the nice little Hurricane that hit the night before release, rendering me without power for a full week  So now I just have 3 school days then saturday'll be the midnight release and tournament. Looking forward for sure.

Mmm... I love that song don't get me wrong, but in terms of badass-ness, I have to give that honor to The Shortest Straw. It's not my favorite per se, but the way it chugs along is awesome. Great track, though. Suicidal Tendencies FTW.

I can agree with that, definatly one of my favourates to play. Guitar and bass are extremely fun.

I'm somehow torn between not giving a crap about this game and being more hyped for it than Rock Band 2.
I think it's Evil/Stone Cold Crazy/Turn The Page/No Excuses/Blood & Thunder/The motherfucking Lemmy, because the only Metallica songs I care about ('sides For Whom The Bell Tolls) are on Rock Band already.
Daaaaamn, undecided.

Shortest Straw was one of the ones I was fiending to play.
I still havent tried most of the Metallica ones because I wanna play with friends when we get together later, so puppets still a mystery me.
But ive realized I suck on bass, didnt play WT much so the open string throws me for a loop, but I managed a sightread 5* on shortest straw because I knew the song itself so much.
So it wasnt really a reaction to the chart, but strumming to the way I know the song goes and just trying to hold the right buttons at the right times. This crap is so epic |
