Latest Accomplishment
OK for starters, before I had access to PAL again for Trogdor I was playing GH2 pretty regularly on 360 for fun. The lower strum limit has always been a serious headache for me but lately I've been getting a lot better at steady strumming and it's shown. In addition to FCing all the DLC, I managed to get 73/74 on the 360 version specifically, which seems to be all that's humanly possible :p Jordan took one try to reFC, and while the strumming centric songs were very very stubborn to fall, I managed to get the last three reFCs I needed all in the same session one night.
This was the first to go and I had several outro "chokes" before I finally got it. Humorously enough, I only managed to stay steady enough for the outro when I had missed in it so much I no longer cared about missing. It sucks, but nerves are actually a huge disadvantage with this particular skill.
Next I decided to halfheartedly attempt solo D because I really hate misirlou on this game. To my surprise, after about 10 minutes in practice I got a -1 on the section so I took it to real runs from there. It only took two tries before I hit it and finished out the FC. I remember when I couldn't even hit this on ps2 so my quick success was a very pleasant surprise.
The last non-Trogdor song to fall for me, I have had a nightmare of a time going for this on 360 ever since I first tried for it years ago. This song is a bastard but I always wanted to FC it on 360 since the chart was slightly different on this version. Ironically, my failed attempts at misirlou are what made me improve my steady strumming in general and helped me to succeed at all the hard on-disc shit I've managed to do in the past couple of months. Anyways, after being super warmed up and confident from two very good FCs, I was able to keep my nerves down and power through the grind with only two outro chokes and a gtr break 2 choke. Extremely satisfied to have this FCed on 360
Anyways, those are all great FCs to me but none of them are exactly new,It's been a long time since I last had a ps2 capable of running swap magic, but recently I found a pretty good deal on a flip top ps2 on ebay and it arrived about a week and a half ago. I only ended up paying about 30 bucks for the privilege of a possible Trogdor FC, and I was determined to get my money's worth lol. All in all the grind was not very fortunate, and after spending about 6 hours over the course of 3 days, I had managed to FC the strumming 8 different times. Twice in practice warming up, three times I overstrummed after the last O sustain, and most infuriating of all were the two times I managed to miss in the weird zigs and FC the strumming out. Many, many, many attempts later my eighth strumming FC would be the full song FC, finishing off for good one of my favorite games of all time.
Fuck you, squeedlies. Video of the FC
In addition, because I love this game so much, I did a setlist scroll of both my PS2 and 360 version setlists to show off all those shiny gold stars. There may even be some in there that might surprise you ;o
So that's it for now! 14 songs left in the series including DLC and I can't see myself doing much of what's left so you can probably expect updates to be annually once again ;-;7

Thank you. Your accomplishments are extraordinary as well. I could never hit the SAF trills and the end spammery in the same run.
Edit: Till 2/28/10 that is!!!

Great job. Long car trips are always good for GHOT( not Decades).
I got my 6 news FCs while I was on vacation too.
Submit those GHOT scores. you already have 17fcs. I have 18 and I'm in 6th -_- _________________

I'll get on it as soon as I find a good way to take pictures of my scores. Right now with the light of the DS it is just too hard. |

You don't need pictures. I only took one because it was 1st place beat Ucpropick's and Yarukinasu supposed optimal score.
Just take 1 or 2 of a real impresive FC.
I hope to see you on those leaderboards _________________
