Hey Krimsun, random, Echelar and ES
I need you guys to tell me that once upon a time you also struggled with getting 5* on Cfh medium. Right now I'm considering giving up and probably die (years from now) without a guitar god status on medium... And why even bother trying to beat it at expert? I'm truly not an expert.
So tell me: How much is talent?
And by the way: How much practice does it take to go from barely beating BatM to 5-staring Texas Flood? Shall I quit my dayjob? _________________

Actually, I didn't worry about 5-starring lower ranks, maybe because when I started this site wasn't running and I wasn't competing with anyone.
Really, with rhythmical experience and Heavy DDR experience, I figured I would get through Medium on my first try fairly easily. I beat that, went to Hard, beat that, then went to Expert and never turned back. There was that time when my fingers were retarded and I couldn't play crap, but my addiction overcame that. By the time I was a Guitar God, I found this site, and the competitive feel has kept me playing. |

I played through easy and medium pretty fast and never went back until I found this site and realized that I only can compete on easy.
Sometimes when I come home drunk I decide to play a relaxing game on easy. Mostly though I wake up in the morning to a retry screen on Cfh expert that says 9% completed. That's how I know that I drank too much. Alcohol creates courage...
Ps. I did it!!! Guitar god on medium! And all it took was a frustrated post in the forum. _________________

Hmm... I spent 1 weekend playing multiplayer with friends... then bought the game.
I think after about 3 or 4 6-hour sessions , I'd beaten every song medium-> expert except BATM/CfH expert. I think BATM was beaten the next day, and CfH within a week of that.
I think there was a few months in between 5-starring medium and 5-starring expert... since I only got done with all of expert recently. _________________
