D-Oh!!!...I submitted the wrong score for CP. I got 172,566 with my FC run...171,132 with my -1 run. OOOPS!!! Not that it really makes a difference, just wanted to say it.
Ahhhh...nothing like bringing up the rear for the rest of the songs, guess I spent "to much time" on CP!!!

LOL...sad, people who only submitted scores for 1 week beat me in the overall standings ...FUNNY!!!

Good Job all, see ya next season...
For those of you in the playoffs...GOOD LUCK!!!

Wow, NIN. All I can say is that is a historically good regular season. Congrats, man.

I'm actually surprised I stayed in 9th place overall, none of my songs were real good at all. I guess there is a big gap between me and 10th place though.

Thanks, I just noticed myself, IA and Barendd all scored higher than Sakst82's ex-record holding league season score of 688.

Also, congrats on the playoff spot, looks like we're having a 16-man play-off because (if i counted correctly) there were 31 submissions for week 4.

No, that can't be right. Only the top 4 because 16 is the highest power of 2 that doesn't go over 20. So seeds 5-20 would play each other like a 16-man bracket. (You can stop reading here if you want, I'm just kinda thinking out loud trying to figure out who I'm facing. The rest of this is gonna be stupid rambling). So, with me being the 9th overall, that would make me like the 5th seed in the 16-man bracket, which means I would face the 12th seed (or 16th overall). So, if all the crap in this post is true, I'm facing CPURules in the first round.

If that's not right, then I just wasted my time thinking more than I should be on a Sunday.

Well if you think about it... 12 people have byes, which leaves 8 people to slug it out... 4 of those 8 go through to join the 12 who had byes...

12+4 = 16 = 8 two-man battles.

That was my thinking.

Congratz NIN, a damn good week for you. I'm disappointed in my CP rank, but I knew that was coming without the FC. Could've done a little better in EB, but pft. And I'm happy with 2 2nd's anyways.

As for playoffs, glad to hear it's top 20, and that more people will have a chance to strut their stuff. Should be fun; good luck to everyone, and once again, congratz on an extremely fun regular season

EDIT: Just read your two perceptions of the playoffs, and am curious how it's supposed to work. Just wanna know if I'm wasting my time playing Woman or not... I guess if the top 4 or the top 12 get byes, then either way I'm not in the first round. I'm confused, lol, this is my first playoff, so not entirely sure how it works (Especially with 20 people. Both methods seem reasonable, NIN's and JR's that is.)

Maybe, I definitely wouldn't argue with me being in the top 12. (referring to NIN's idea)

But I just checked the past seasons forum, and in the AA League (Season 2) they had 24 people in the playoffs, and the top 8 seeds had byes, making a 16-man bracket in the first round. But that makes sense because the 2nd round just ended up being another 16-man bracket.

If this happens the way I thought before, then then we would end up with 12 people in the second round. And then maybe four of those winners would have byes, making an 8-man 3rd round, which even things out.

That's MUCH more complicated than your idea, NIN, but to me, having more than half of the participants get byes in the 1st round is too much.

I can see where you're coming from, but it wouldn't be fair for someone who's earnt his top 4 or so seeding, to have his bye taken away from him because he lost in a squeezefest to the #20 seed. I've never seen a bracket in my life where there have been byes post-round 1.

Anyway, we'll see how it pans out soon enough.

It'll definitely be top 12 getting byes, because that's the way bracketing works. You need to get it to a power of 2 after the first round.
