As of midnight, all of scorehero's tracking and ranking abilities are now available for the new 360 release. I still need to add support for the signature images, which I plan to do shortly. Let me know if there are any other issues that may have been overlooked.
Enjoy.
EDIT: 360 support is now available for the signature images. _________________

I can't see any scores when I go to rankings, but it might just be crowded. _________________

Actually there are still no scores submitted. I suspect most people won't have the game until stores open later this morning. _________________

Ah yes, that's something I added specifically for the original GHII game. I'll add the 8-star displays where relevant for 360 as well.
EDIT: 8-star displays have been added. _________________

How will downloadable songs that cost money be handled in rankings? _________________

Depends on how the game itself actually handles them. If they appear within the bonus tracks and their scores count towards the bonus tracks total, then they will be added to the bonus tracks. If they appear as additional tiers, we'll do that. If they count towards tier scores, they will appear above the bonus tracks... if they don't they'll appear below, like the GH2 OPM demo did on GH1.

I'm sorry, I meant more along the lines of if those songs do contribute to any tier, bonus/career/new, what will happen to the people who choose not to buy those songs? All scores being equal between two players save that Player One has two more songs downloaded than Player Two, Two will be further down in the overall rankings as a result? _________________

My feeling is, we're kinda stuck with how the game itself handles them. Obviously, in the interests of fairness, I think that DLC should not count towards total scores for the reasons you name. If Activision agrees, then they'll release them as non-contributing sets that will appear as extra tiers or extra bonus songs that don't count towards total scores, and we'll do the same, ala the GH2 OPM demo with GH1.
If they do, however, for some reason, decide to make DLC count towards total score, then to keep the scorekeeping system an accurate representation of what the game itself does, we'd probably do the same.
Those are my initial thoughts anyway. JC can jump in and overrule if he has something else in mind.

I would give the nice admins a chance to see how the game actually handles downloadable content before quizzing them about how the site will deal with it
In other news, I think this is the first x360 FC reported to scorehero. _________________

I played Pearl Jams "Life Wasted" and honestly it looks really easy to FC, but with the HD lag on the damn Best Buy Trials version I had alittle problem. I will FC it when I pick it up later today.
And as far as Deschains concerns go I would look at how alot of people even post there scores because alot of people don't even post scores for certains songs so if you don't have it boo for you, if you do then you get more points. We shall see though just my thoughts =) |

Hey, I was wondering if we are allowed to post the same scores for the songs that are on the PS2 version of GH2 as 360 GH2, because I'm going to get scores for the extra 10 songs from my friend's copy of the game, but I don't have time to get new scores for all the rest. |
