I just fucked up my pc and had to reformat my C drive (Luckily only Windows was there)

No I have the GH3 folder with all the stuff and customs but I cant run it because of this error:

Can't run program, because d3dx9_35.dll was not found. Reinstalling may fix the problem.

That sounds like a directx problem, although I have Directx9c (dxdiag says so)

So.. What should I do to keep my customs?
I'm sure I have everything else that the registry entries.

Try downloading d3dx9_35.dll and placing it in random folders until it works. That's generally how I solve .dll issues.

Reinstall and then replace with the old folder.

I know that reinstalling would work but then I'd have to import like 50 customs and I'm too lazy for that :P

I'll try that dll thing though.

After fixing the DLL problems, you can also add the GH3 keys to the registry instead of reinstalling.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III]
"Language"="en"
"Path"="C:\\Program files\\YOUR_PATH_TO_GH3\\"

(Obviously, replacing YOUR_PATH_TO_GH3 with the path where you have GH3 installed).
