The only thing I can tell you is:

1. You have the note charts, so practice it slowly.

2. Hold down the blue and yellow frets for the first couple of notes, and then release the blue to hit the yellow, then switch to red, and repeat.

Your muscle memory should kick in if you practice.

Ok yeah this part can be a little tricky at first...

I'm not sure with you if it's an issue of the right hand or left hand, so here's my suggestions:

-First, just practice the rhythm WITHOUT using your left hand and with the game turned off. Just practice getting the correct rhythm with the strum bar on that part without worrying about the notes. Lots of times when I practice stuff on violin it's kind of similar- sometimes things are really an issue of the technique of one hand or the other, not necessarily them working together- youve gotta figure it out.

-Next, try it with the game, adding the notes obviously. On that YB held to Y-R-YB part...I feel that I have much more control using the middle and ring fingers on Y and B. After you play the YB held chord, make sure you release your ring finger afterwards before you go for the next Y-R part. After the Y-R, I recommend lifting ALL of your fingers off the buttons (keeping them low to the fretboard) and "snapping" your middle and ring fingers down onto the YB chord. Of course you have a short time to do this, but this is the key to getting this part in my opinion. Really concentrate on articulating the YB chord following the Y-R notes, and I think you'll get it. Snap down those fingers

I have trouble with that part also. I know my problem is that I'm lifting my middle finger too soon in anticipation of the R, but I've yet to be able to correct it.

Ditto. I hate that part. If not for it I'd probably have a FC on hard.

I used to have trouble with that part until I just used up & down strumming there instead of regular down strumming.

do it the same way you do the first part like it, except add a yellow to make them chords.

I don't have too much of a problem on that part, but I can't play the rest of the song very well. Basically, I don't hold those YB sustain note pairs there - just play them like a chord and get ready to do the Y-R-YB YB part. You'll lose a few points not holding the notes, but you'll at least maintain the score combo multiplier.

Drives me crazy that I CAN hit that part and still can't touch your beastly scores.

also if this helps, I use ring->middle finger->ring+pinkie for that part, AND I get to hold the notes for full value...it doesn't feel out of control that way.

It did help. I switched back to using ring/pinkie for that part, and I got it at least twice as often. After about an hour of trying, I finally got it:

I'll have a video up in an hour or less.
