Because PSN is free, Sony makes developers pay a small fee every time a demo is downloaded. Some developers don't want to have to pay for the right to give people something, so they only put it on 360. |

I'm well aware of that, thank you, but according to the thread in Misc. GH the demo'll be removed 6 days after it was up. _________________

F'n A right.
This should be aimed at people who might buy this type of game and will take the trouble to download 500 meg and play the thing.
I don't know how most will take it, but they seem like pre-alpha versions of random DLC songs. I don't think this will excite most anyone in any of the target audiences.
I'd say it appears they are not putting any hopes into the demo enticing anyone to get the game.
Wonder how sales will be. |

SH =/= everybody
The vast majority of people will download the demo, hear three songs they know and love, won't care about the charts or lack of solos, and buy the game (theoretically, at least).
The fact is, they chose songs that the vast majority of people love to listen to, which is for most people the deciding factor in buying a music game. |

i can honestly say, I will not be buying this game. What a waste, these are all songs that have been in the games i already have! Its like neversoft ran out of ideas for songs, so they just decided to re-use previous songs, and still make a killing in profits.
Yes, I know the charts are different, but from the looks of the demo, they are a LOT worse. no solos? c'mon... plus i like the layout and engine of GH2 and GH3 much better.
I didn't like GH WT, or GH Metallica, and i probably will not like this game... just sayin.
lets see how many people i can get to reply to this pissed off... _________________

I downloaded the demo as well. 'Rock and Roll All Nite' is easy...just not as fun without the solo. 'Take Me Out' is a great song IMO, and was pretty fun to play. The chart is pretty cool, but nothing too hard. 'Woman' was just kinda boring I thought...easy song. Anyway, I don't think Smash Hits is a worthy purchase just because I've overplayed all these songs in previous games and the difficulty for the majority of these seem simple. I look forward to 'Bark at the Moon', 'Cowboys From Hell' and 'TTFAF' though. _________________
