Hey guys,
I'm seeking official sponsorship for the tournament that i am throwing in Los Angeles but I have met with resistance on various PS2 message boards that have deleted my tournament announcement. I'm hoping that some of you who have successfully received RedOctane sponsorship could provide some insight into some boards/sites that I could use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys,
-H

Shouldn't you get RedOctane sponsorship first, then setup the tournament? It seems to me that their sponsorship is what funds the whole thing, as well as adds publicity clout. |

A lot of times you need to advertise it so much in order to get sponsorship. |

They give you tentative approval and then you have to advertise on 5 sites or message boards where you need to include their logo and a statement saying that they are officially sponsoring the tournament. After they have checked all that, you receive the prizes and such. |
