Umm, it should work now. Haha. I hope.

FIXES: (Hopefully)

- xendecrypt/xenencrypt Memory errors.
- mp3extract File Name Out of Bounds Error.

- xmaextract is a new beta buggy program I made to extract the xma channels from an xbox 360 fsb4 file. Only works for fsb4 by the way. In order to convert it with towav, you need to put your own header onto it. Sorry, I still haven't been able to generate xma headers, I'm still researching this.

Thats all I have time for. Sorry folks.

Hi, could someone please tell me how to setup and run xmaextract on a PC ? I'm using Vista 64. I'm not used to running java programs.

Thx in advance for your help.

Anyone please ?

You have to type "java xmaextract (or whatever the name is)."

Don't double post trying to get help from something you just posted before. You look like a retard and it pisses people off. Wow.

Got the utils running now. But when I run xmaextract it just says reading xma file then finishes, as shown in the pic above. No seperate files are extracted. The other pic is to show the file format.

Any ideas ?

Cheers,
The Retard.

Here's a bit more file info:

xmaextract only works with FSB files, as posted earlier.
Are you trying to run it on what fsbext extracted?

How exactly do I use mp3extract / what is the latest version? I'm not exactly here for GHWT customs... I'm trying to rip the soundtrack from DJ Hero, and since it and the GH series most likely use some kind of the same engine, and DJ Hero uses FSB files, I figure this might work. Every other thing I tried has failed, except for one program, but when it extracted the file had 6 channels, which wouldn't play in any program. Would mp3extract work for this? Thanks!

EDIT: I'm getting this error, does it have to do with the fact that's it's frm DJ Hero and not GHWT?

Code:

Reading FSB file... 27563888 bytes
Extracting S_M_DJH064_Hard.wav channel 1...
mp3tools.IlleagalHeaderException
             at mp3tools.Header.<init><Header>
             at mp3tools.MP3Buffer.getNextFrame<MP3Buffer>
             at mp3tools.extractChannel<mp3extract>
             at mp3tools.main<mp3extract>
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
             at mp3tools.extractChannel<mp3extract>
             at mp3tools.main<mp3extract>

In all the angle brackets there's a ".java:(number)", but it get's deleted when I submit. The numbers are, in order, 145, 58, 136, 99, 148, 99.

I used the xendecrypter on the rooftops_2.fsb.xen file, this obviously gave me the decrypted file. I then used the FSB extractor on this page: http://aluigi.altervista.org/search.php?src=encrypted (Ctrl + F FSB to find it).
I used that to extract what the decryptor decrypted and the result was very strange, it was the mp3 of the vocals, but it was distorted and was also slowed down. I am going to play around for the mp3 for a bit, if I find anything else I shall make another post.

I've got the same problem. Plays back at a lower pitch and there are a few glitches which make the track go out of sync.

Did you find out what causes that ? Is there a fix ?

Did everything as mentioned in steps. The song loads up and everything. But, instead of the actual chart and the song. I get a 5-note chord and bad static., then...Song completed. That's it. Any suggestions?
