I think that a song can't be judged by saying that it's easy on three instruments so it's an easy omb fc. If a song like TTFAF, DWDTG, or Jordan (assuming it is possible to play Devil and Jordan in full band), had the easiest vocals, bass, and drums (which they don't, except Jordan which has no vocals, but just assuming) would they be among the easiest to omb fc?

No, because even if you fced vocals, drums, and bass, all on your first try you still have learn to Fc the red snake and bridge one, VSK and VSR, not to mention the intro strumming, Solo b and c, all sections which are very difficult for most players.

So in conclusion, a song must be judged by the total amount of skill and effort for all instruments involved to omb fc it, not the average for all instruments.

Moved some stuff around, I didn't really think Obstacle 1 was THAT hard on drums, but if you insist... I am reluctant to move NSTB so that stays for now. I think you guys are underestimating vox FCs in this game; the fact that that song is all talkies is enough to put it into first place imo because the ONLY hard part is the guitar solo.

Anyway, added a bunch more songs to the list, tell me what you think.

So yes, I believe NSTB deserves the spot of easiest OMBFC.

War ensemble is the hardest OMB FC, close second is TTFAF.

In War ensemble you have the famous drum chart, filled with 15 NPS rolls and 8 NPS bass. Then you have a 15 NPS strumming fest on bass, and some nasty strumming on guitar. Idk about vox.

For wii/ps2 users, vocals are much, much easier. Stone cold crazy might be one of the hardest OMB on the 360...

only thing in War Ensemble that might mess up vocalists is that its not entirely composed of talkies (I can't remember which phrases, but I know there's non-talkie sections)

im gonna have to disagree, i think TTFAF is alot harder to OMB FC than war ensemble. alot has been said about war ensemble drums, but TTFAF is very hard as well, still un-FCd as far as i know. the guitar goes without saying. war ensemble bass is alot harder than TTFAF though. and then theres vocals, which are actually difficult on GH, unlike RB, where everyone and there moms have FGFCd RB2 vocals. TTFAF was one of the harder songs on SH to FC on vocals, war ensemble had like 1 pitched phrase. and yes, in theory SCC is pretty much impossible to OMB FC on 360, due to the vocals. i highly doubt that anyone good enough to FC the vocals, and at this point neither myself or guitarhailz or anyone else have been able to FC the vocals, i doubt anyone that could FC the vocals will have the skill to FC the other parts. just my thoughts

IIRC I saw someone saying that he FCed TTFAF XDrums in the acc forum. It was on the RB drums though, and I don't know if he posted the score on SH. But you are right, TTFAF OMB on expert might be harder than WE one expert... but X+ War ensemble pwns everything. Ever saw the charts?

I am going to do the metallica OMB breakdown, just because I know both the hard bass charts, the guitar charts and every drum charts. I am going to need someone to complete my list with vox though.

You should be able to find a GH:M FC Ranking List on the Vocals Tech. page.

Please don't, I am going to make one in the OP in this thread after I finish GHWT. If you want to make one, could you put it in this thread, and I will link to your list from the OP. It's just always better to keep everything in one thread. Of course, I can't stop you, but IMO, one thread is always better than two in these cases.

I never wanted to make a new thread, I just wanted to give you a list to give you an easier start. Here it goes:

G = Guitar difficulty
B = Bass
D = Drums
V = Vox

I don't know anything on vox (looking at an FC breakdown won't give the real "feeling" of the song), and only played a couple of bass songs, so you need to fill those blank spaces. I KNOW that I'm missing a song, but I don't know which one.

One last thing: Tuesday's Gone isn't at the right place, AT ALL, but I didn't know where to put it. The drums chart is o_O

1-Nothing Else Matters [Extremely easy on Guitar, Bass and Drums]
G: 1 B: D: 1 V:

2-The Unforgiven [Easy solo on Guitar, easy drums]
G: 1 B: D: 1 V:

3-The Memory Remains [Easy, easy, easy]
G: 2 B: D: 2 V:

4-Enter Sandman [ Some people might struggle with the solo on guitar or the rolls on drums]
G: 3 B: D: 3 V:

5-For Whom the Bell Tolls [Quick bass is hard if you have a stock pedal and/or don't know how to heel/toe. Cakewalk on guitar and bass]
G: 2 B: D: 3 V:

6-King Nothing [The Bridge might trip some people on drums, easy solo on guitar]
G: 3 B: D: 3 V:

7-No leaf Clover [Easy solos on guitar, multiples rolls might be a problem for some drums players]
G: 3 B: D: 3 V:

8-Mother of Mercy [Pie on guitar, odd patterns/rolls on drums could be tricky]
G: 2 B: D: 3 V:

9-The Boys are back in town [Annoying on both guitar and drums, but not really hard]
G: 4 B: D: 3 V:

10-No Excuses [Sooooo annoying on a stock WT drum because of the Y petterns...]
G: 2 B: D: 4 V:

11-Sad But True [ Quick bass in the solo for drum players, solo on guitar]
G: 3 B: D: 5 V:

12-Demon Cleaner [ Odd pattern on drums is a killer until you learn it correctly]
G: 3 B: D: 5 V:

13-Orion [ Looooooong, tricky solo on guitar and ending on drums is a choke-fest]
G: 6 B: D: 4 V:

14-Turn the Page [ Pinky-killer on guitar, final roll on drums]
G: 4 B: D: 5 V:

15-Armed and Ready [ Guitar solo, bass is tricky on drums]
G: 6 B: D: 6 V:

16-Am I evil? [Loooong solo on guitar, tricky bass again (3 in a row = >_>)
G: 6 B: D: 5 V:

17-Hell Bent for Leather [ Easy solo on guitar, annoying on drums]
G: 4 B: D: 6 V:

18-Stacked Actors [ Easy for the first half of the song, then there are some stupid stuff on drums. Cake on guitar.]
G: 2 B: D: 6 V:

19-Toxicity [ Fills are hard (drums]
G: 3 B: D: 7 V:

20-Fuel: [Some quick rolls + awkward stuff on drums. Easy guitar song]
G: 3 B: D: 6 V:

21-Frantic [Fast but simple song on drums, ending isn't as hard as it looks. Strumming on guitar could be hard for some people.]
G: 6 B: D: 6 V:

22-Fade to Black [ Fills and ending on drums, solo on guitar]
G: 7 B: D: 7 V:

23-The Black River [ Fills and rolls are hard on drums, annoying bass stuff. Guitar solo is choke-able]
G: 6 B: D: 7 V:

24-Tuesday's gone [ TRICKY on drums, stupid rolls. Easy on guitar]
G: 3 B: D: 7 V:

25-Mommy's Little Monster[ Fast drum song, multiple fills and rolls to trip you up. Guitar is easy]
G: 4 B: D: 8 V:

26-Wherever I may roam [ Fills on drums, purple stuff on guitar]
G: 7 B: D: 7 V:

27-Albatross [ Annoying bridge on guitar, stupid rolls on drums]
G: 4 B: D: 8 V:

28-Creeping Death [ Long solo on guitar, annoying ending on bass and rolls + bass stuff on drums]
G: 7 B: 6 D: 7 V:

29-Evil [Tapping solo on guitar, awkward stuff on drums]
G: 8 B: D: 7 V:

30-Seek And Destroy [Hard solo on guitar, quick bass + fills/rolls on drums]
G: 8 B: D:8 V:

31-Shortest Straw [ Guitar solo, fills/rolls on drum]
G: 7 B: D: 8 V:

32-Ace of Spades [Hard hard hard rolls everywhere on drums, tricky solo on guitar]
G: 6 B: D: 8 V:

33-Hit the lights [Quick bass and ending on drums, solo is hard on guitar]
G: 8 B: D: 9 V:

34-War Inside My head: [ Almost as fast as War ensemble on drums, luckily bass patterns are easier and there are less rolls]
G:5 B: D: 9 V:

35-Sanitarium [ WTF strumming on guitar, ending on drums]
G: 9 B: D: 8 V:

37-Beautiful Mourning [ Whole song on drums, x_X intro on guitar]
G: 5 B: D: 9 V:

38-Master of Puppets [ Main riff + solo on guitar, main riff on bass and rolls on drums]
G: 8 B: 8 D: 7 V:

39-Fight Fire with Fire [ Hard on guitar, even harder on bass. Drums are also pretty hard.]
G: 8 B: 9 D: 7 V:

40-Mercyful Fate [ Lol 12 minutes long, choke-city on every instruments.]
G: 8 B: 8 D: 8 V: 10

46-All Nightmare Long [ Stupid strumming + guitar solos on guitar, rolls on drums. Tricky bass as well.]
G: 9 B: 8 D: 9 V:

47-Dyer's Eve [ Dumbest/Hardest chart ever on bass, hard guitar solos AND stupid hard drums. Almost no rolls in the whole song though]
G: 10 B: 10 D: 10 V:

I meant it's the toughest OMBFC on RB. Toughest OMBFC overall might be Constant Motion with its blisteringly hard drums and guitar parts.

Edit: Nevermind, it's probably What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse. Being so insane on drums and bass as well as VERY tough on guitar.

the hardest OMB fc is probably Dyer's Eve, at least if you count expert plus. FFWF is comparable, being like the same thing on drums for a lot of it, the other hardest bass fc, and one of the hardest on guitar.

it's a rare song that's insanely hard on ALL four difficulties. anything that has insane bass and drums probably has insane guitar and often very easy vocals (often all talkies like visions)

i dunno how hard dyers eve is on vocals but it's definitely the hardest omb in ghm, probably ghwt too. hot for teacher is the hardest in world tour. smash hits is obv ttfaf. i dunno if expert plus is being counted in this or not.

If you guys want, later I could write up a quick description and rank all of the songs. I have over 60Fcs on each instrument and over 50 All instrument ( - vocals) FCs. Then you guys can give some feed back on how vocals effects their positions.

I wouldn't really want to be biased when I try to add in vocal difficulty, because I would say About a Girl and Pretty Vacant are the easiest OMB FCs, just because I can actually combo them - Despite Pretty Vacant having somewhat difficult drums. Which they beat out No Sleep Til Brooklyn solely because of it's guitar. I would consider Feel The Pain one of the top 5 easiest OMB FCs also, because of how easy it is on vocals despite being "medium-hard" FCs on guitar and drums.

Dyer's eve on drums isn't that bad. It's fast, period. There are almost no fills/rolls, so it's just about going fast. War ensemble, on the other hand... Drums are faster than in Dyer's, there are plenty of fast rolls and fills. Dyer's eve on guitar is also overrated...
