Now, I'm not complaining or anything, since I'm 5th on 360 and 8th on x-plat on this song...but I have to ask, especially to OBOYOBOY or really anyone in the top three: How in the world did you get that score?
100k on Overkill just seems so extreme, I can't see pathing making up that difference so it has to be in the freeforms. I've tried everything and can't get higher than 5x at best on any of the freeforms
I know the notes and how to do FS sections it's just...wow the game just won't register notes fast enough for me to get above a 5x multiplier. |

Don't even bother trying to beat BOYOBOYY's scores. Ain't gonna happen. They're like the 8th wonder of the world. _________________

This is truer than you'd like to think. _________________

Overkill's FFs use this scale: C# D# F F# G# Bb
Get a lot of SP, and use it on the freeforms, while singing that scale. During the freeforms, try to not use any vibrato, keep your voice steady. Transition between notes quickly, and on the beat so you raise your multiplier. _________________

Like I said in the OP, I know how to do freeforms. I've done the scale from memory. The game just won't register the notes fast enough to get a multiplier higher than 4-5x |

Since I'm second, at least in the SH leaderboard on expert on this song, I can say that as far as I recall, I got a 6x on Overkill.
Path is of course not the reason for such a high score, it's absolutely the freeform. I couldn't get such a high score as BOYOBOYY's, but I was pretty pleased with mine too and didn't struggle for a higher one.
I agree with droobles, beating his scores is not an easy task...it would have to become an obsessive task, and you would have to have a great deal of free time |
