yes how do you delete topics like this one? because i cant . Even though i go to, Edit/Delete this post i cant find any x button or something. Any help would be appreciated

Next to the edit button, is there a little X? That will do it. Or when you go to Edit, look for a "Delete this post" checkbox. I don't know, maybe you can't do it because you're a normal user and/or I've already posted in this thread, but that's how a user could delete his/her post.

Well, in General Chat, you can't delete your posts. If you want to delete your post in any other forum, there mustn't be any posts after yours. (Then there is the X button). If you want to delete a thread, you have to be the OP, and there mustn't be any replies in the thread.

I suppose you could also report your thread using the button and ask the mods to delete it for you as well.

To add to this, posts cannot be deleted General Gaming Discussion at all (Matt had something to do with it, if I recall correctly).
