So I was just wondering, how hard is each game? Like I would love to know if GH2 is harder than GH1, and if GH1 is harder than RB1 and RB2... This is how I see it.. post your own thoughts. (From Easiest to hardest)
Also, if anyone know's the legit list (factual) Then I'd really like to see it.. thank's.

HOPO System:
Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero: World Tour/Guitar Hero: Smash Hit's/Guitar Hero: Metallica
Guitar Hero 5
Guitar Hero Aerosmith
Guitar Hero 2/GH80's
Guitar Hero 1

Strum Engine
Guitar Hero 3/Guitar Hero: World Tour/Guitar Hero: Smash Hit's/Guitar Hero Metallica/Guitar Hero Aerosmith/Guitar Hero5
Guitar Hero 2/GH80's

You're wrong with the HOPO engine. GHWT's HOPOs are much harder than GHM's and GHSH's HOPOs. I explained it a while before in a different topic but I don't feel like explaining again nor digging through hundreds of threads.

In GH1 you most likely have to strum every HOPO to make sure you hit them. Tapping them is possible, but not easy.

RB's strumming is similar to GH2's strumming. WT is also different from GH3, GHM/GHSH too.

So, the list would be:

HOPOs:
GH3
GHM/GHSH
GH5
GHA
GHWT
GH2/RB
GH1

Strumming:
GH3/GHA
GHWT
GH5
GHM/GHSH
GH2/RB
GH1

This post is based on my own opinion. Please don't say "you're wrong", I don't care, this seems right to ME.

Hmm, I have always thought RB was the hardest.. Guess not. Also, do you mind adding GHA? im just curious.

RB and GH2 have exactly the same engine, according to Harmonix.

I feel like GH:M/SH strumming is harder than GH5 since you can't double strum notes anymore.

HOPO-wise, GHA is between GH5 and GHWT. It's under GH5 because they aren't as ridiculously easy (ex. you can hit a HOPO after the next one has crossed the line), but over GHWT because, well, these are ridiculously hard compared to any Neversoft engine.

Strumming-wise, GHA is similar to GH3.

What does that exactly mean? Strumming twice for one note and still not break combo, or burst strumming?

Ohh ok.. Also, I think he means double strumming HOPO's.

I think he must be talking about strumming twice for one note and note breaking combo... like smokyprogg showed in his Welcome Home (Sanitarium) video a while back, where he strummed 4 times for 3 notes.

switch GH5 with GHWT on both strumming and hopos and I agree with Undead.

Strumming feels much easier and HOPOs are harder for me. I've never had any problems in WT with HOPOS but i'm missing really easy ones in GH5

I agree with Undead's list, except for GH3's Ho-Po placement. Even though the front end is infinite, I find the back end to feel... very small. I find it to be about this for me -

Easiest - SH/M
Easier - 3/WT
Difficult, comparatively. - Everything else.

That isn't to say that GH3 and WT have the same timing window, I just feel like the larger back-end on WT evens out the infinite front end of GH3 in terms of overall difficulty.

Hmm I just realized GH80's isn't on my list or yours.. I completely overlooked it.. Where would you put it?

80s is exactly the same as GH2, engine-wise. (although minus the hopo glitch, I'm pretty sure)

This. It was very annoying in songs like Mercyful Fate, Welcome Home and ANL.

I did double strum notes in The Spirit Of Radio's yellow-blue strumming, so it's still doable in GH5.
