Yeah, it's the first pack that's been on the message of the day since the MUSE pack. That's sad. I don't know whether it has an effect on sales or not. _________________

What? Are they gonna send him nasty messages about his bad connection when they have no idea its bad. They simply think he disconnected on purpose.
Did he quit?
No
Did the message say he quit?
No
So your point is invalid and irrelevant.
As far as your other comments go, you obviously haven't read the whole thread, so I feel no need to respond. |

People quit all the time when they quickly discover they are better than you, There are also people that play their best just to quit at the end of songs to be douches. It's stupid. |

The thing is, it's going to count as a lose anyway, so just be a good sport and play to the end. I thought it was meant to be about fun, not winning/not admitting defeat.
*sigh* Rant over.

Well the best thing about GH3 online is that people who quit don't get a loss... It's how a lot of people get their win streak achievements, or avoid complete obliteration. I just don't play online anymore, unless it's with someone I know so they won't quit on me. |

This is just online play. It happens everywhere, and honestly, just be glad that you get to give negative feedback to other players rather than Wii owners, who have absolutely no chance to give a negative comment to other online players.
However, I don't think we need another thread on this. This point was made back in November.
People quit at the end of the song, it sucks, move on. |

I've had people in rock Band quit on me after playing the last note of the song. Beat that. _________________

They do that so you still get it counted as a win if you're going for the achievements. |

You guys think that's bad, what about when you're playing PFO in real life and someone just puts down the guitar and walks away. Pussy |

Why wouldn't it? |
If the name of the pack was "Players of this pack never ever quit" would you be surprised if someone quit
Seems as though every other thread these days is an OMG QUITTERS thread...
Yes they suck. We get it. _________________

On the Wii and PS3 versions, you can lock the other guy's console up by quitting at the exact moment of the "You Rock!" pop-up. Maybe he was trying to do that? I'm trying to be positive! _________________

Lol. Yeah, that sounds like something my friend, thegreatsombrero, would do.
Just to reiterate though, its not the quiting that bothered me. It is the fact that he was a very good player quiting on a virtuoso song that made me get all pissy. But then again, I was drunk last night when I wrote this. Now it doesn't seem like such a big deal. Maybe I should stop posting while drinking? |

Actually, it doesn't for achievements. That's why its so much more annoying. |
