|

Hey i have a (more or less brand new) explorer that i got FREE with aerosmith. (It was a special offer that you got a aerosmith LP + a free explorer with the game), so i can't really trade it in for a new one since it's a "Gift"....
Anyways my problem is one iv never heard of... the wammy bar works perfecly with bouncing back etc, but the problem is it has HUUUUUUUUGE lagg from registering.....
and it's only the whammy...
For pointing out exactly how bad this problem is... if i play battle mode and someone throws a whammy at me, it can take me 10 sec of REALLY HARD whammying from the top to bottom to get it down....
(meaning i can in some songs die from just 1 whammy >_>).
Anyways, anyone know any solution to this? (and remember that opening it up is not an option.) |

Hmm, you might wanna try the whammy calibration. Thats the only help one can provide without opening it up. |

The calibration will not help you. Calibration is to fix a problem where your whammy bar is registered as active, when it's just sitting in a resting position. .. when every note wammies down and sits there when you aren't even using the bar. This problem is with your potentiometer. It's not relaying the signal to the logic board fast enough. I think the only way to fix it is to get a new potentiometer from www.guitarheroparts.com and install it.
Why is opening it up not an option? Without opening it up, I think your pretty well boned. |
