|
|
so from the home brew part of the forums i said that i didn't have a guitar strap..
my friend wanted 10$ for his, OR a memory card for ps2, i can get a ps2 mem card for 5$ off my other friend
so anyways, is that a good deal? 5$ for it? and if i get screwed how much will gamestop / eb games give me for a 8MB Nyko PS2 memory card?
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801211
they sell it for 18 used so they might give me 8 dollars for it used. it's 2 AM so i can't exactley call right now _________________

Well you're either out $5 for a strap (which I would definitely pay if my guitar had no strap) or you're ahead $3 by reselling the memory card if the strap transaction falls through.
What's the question here? no brainer imo. _________________

Yeah, a guitar hero strap would probably fetch a pretty penny on, say, Ebay. I wholly agree that you should go for it. _________________

i'm astounded at the amount of people who don't have REAL guitar straps lying around like i do. i guess i just kinda figured that most people who played GH also played guitar. you learn something new everyday _________________

you would think a lot of the people here would play guitar, but in truth, a lot of us are just regular ole gamers looking for an awesome game to play.
as for the dilema, totally just do the deal. like it was already said, you're either out 5 bucks, or up 3 bucks. the ends justify the means man. |

why pay 10$ for a guitar hero specific strap when you can just go get a real guitar strap for under 5 bucks? Plenty of people use real ones just fine with their controller..and they are typically built better, you have more variety...can get a color/pattern you like.....
here is a example link for a cheap one for 4 bucks..brand new..
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ernie-Ball-2-Poly-Strap?sku=367253
for less than 10 bucks..you can get patterned ones..with real leather ends..... beats the hell out of the cheap one they give you with the game.. |

..again...a real guitar strap.
Click on the 'view larger' photo link...the one you are referring to is in the lineup.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Impact-Series-Guitar-Strap?sku=361170
and you don't even need to pay 20 bucks...you can get it for 12 (+shipping and handling).
You can probably also run to your local guitar store and pay the same price....whats more..there is a huge selection of many other types/colors. You may find one you like even more. |
