just out of curiosity,
what happens if you ACCIDENTALLY post a false score on the forum? _________________

How can you possibly do it accidentally?
"Whoops, there I was writing a post about something entirely innocent, when I accidentally put in a false score report... I'm such a silly!"
So... since we've worked out that it can't be done accidentally, it's probably safe to say the punishment would be the same. _________________

I think he misinterpreted and was talking about accidentally entering a false score in manage scores. Like a typo on a first digit would dramatically increase your score and make you look like a blatant cheater if it's first by far.
I'm fairly sure as long as all your other scores are legit that the mods understand typos happen and they will probably just delete the score and maybe tell you to be more careful next time. I'm fairly sure you would just get banned if you added a 999,999 score to TTFAF as your only score or something drastic like that.
EDIT: seeing as you're still confused. The rule is to not post fake score on the FORUM. Meaning if you see a fake score entered, don't start a thread or post about the score on the forum, PM a mod or use the SC bot in IRC. |

Delete it and post the real score. Usually, this isn't a problem and if it is, then it's really easy to catch since you'll probably see a nice green 1st place rank next to it >_> |

lol true
that happened to me.
i wanted to put a score for 367k (not exactly but i dont remember the digits now but its up there) and i put 467k and i was like shit! 1st place.
but when i looke ad 2nd place it was 407k by LO7 and i knew there was no way i could get higher than lo7 since he is a squeezing machine.
so i deleted it.
but the question was if you didnt notice that you entered a wrong score. _________________

A mod would probably just delete it (and maybe notify you, but I'm not sure if they do that). They wouldn't ban you for posting that. If you had 20 scores that were first place by that much or posted a score of 999,999, then you'd probably get banned. You check your rank after posting a score anyway, like me, so you'll notice it before anything happens anyway. _________________

I've added a score that I though was mediocre at best. Come to find out i was in first by a ton. A simple typo will do that.
There are no mistakes. The mods will give you the benefit of the doubt, just make sure you do a final check on the scores you've just entered. There's a delete button for a reason. |

what about all the really big FCs, like StrikeBowler585's FC of Bark at the Moon, or Witwix's FC of Jordan, or iamchris4life's FC of TTFAF...you get the idea. Why arent they on the major announcement pages? Or is it just pertaining to how the site itself has grown, not on accomplishments of other players?
ok, now that im wiser, i know about this stuff now. Thank you.
And i didnt know Witwix wasnt the first. HA mustve done it before i joined _________________

Generally, people's accomp threads are put on the front page when they do something like baseballkid did and FC an entire game (or instrument, in the case of Rock Band). Most announcements are New DLC, previews of the newest GH/RB game and the like. _________________

More on this, announcements are only made the first time something is done. When Chris FC'ed TtFaF, hell yeah an announcement was made. But not when Phenom did it, since it had been done. BBK was a different story because he was the first to FC the whole game.
BTW, stike's BatM FC was front page'd, but not Witwix's Jordan FC. HA's Jordan FC was FP'ed, though, since his was first.
Check this out, it could be a useful/interesting read. _________________

Hello all!
First off nice site you got here!
Now when I go to manage scores and select the game, difficulty etc it doesn't come up with the list of songs. Just has that little box which tells you how many FCs, 5 stars, songs passed you've done. Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi and welcome to ScoreHero.
You happened to join just as I was fixing a problem, which is now resolved. The full list of songs should display below the summary box now within Manage Scores with links to Insert a score for any song.
Good luck with your scores, and feel free to look around or ask questions if you have any trouble. _________________
