Checking for guitar hero syndrome

Guitar hero syndrome can be checked for in several ways.

1. Tapping of the fingers while listening to a song Note: Can be mistaken for real guitar skills.

2. Saying you can play the song (name of a song from guitar hero), and checking if subjects says "what difficulty:.

3. Saying Dragon Force is an overate band with members who cheat at guitar using effects, then noting if the subject starts attacking you with their weakling nerd arms.

4. Saying the name Jimi Hendrix, and the subject not knowing what your talking about (may become an obsolete method with the release of Guitar Hero 4.

5. If the only song from Metallica the subject knows is "One".

6. Checking subjects playlists/albums, and noticing high amounts of speed metal, and very little classic rock.

7. Asking.
