I started with GH3, got it in early April and just went straight to Expert. 5*ed everything on-disc, and I got to 50 FCs sometime in October, then stopped to chill for a bit before WT came out. I like to think that's pretty fast progress, from nothing to 50 expert FCs in six months .
There's always room to get better, but with WT being as (relatively) easy as it is, I decided that room would be in the realm of Expert drumming, which I'll be starting once I get that MIDI-USB cable . |

I am very pleased with my skill. I've played for exactly a year now (started on GH2 and bought GHIII in March). I've managed to five-star 63 songs on GHIII and 20 FCs and 19 million total score. (rarely play GH2 cause I hate the engine). So yes I am pleased. _________________

I've been playing since June in this year, but I heard about guitar hero about the time GH3 came out, but I never had a chance to buy one of the series. I'm playing expert ofc, and I have some good FCs (CoP, Monsters, such) so I like my skills, although they could be better :/ _________________

I got GH3 in June this year, and I've gone quite far. After 10 days of owning the game, I was on tier 8 on hard. I was at tier 4 on expert after 2 weeks.
I have 20 FC's on GH3 and 9 on aerosmith and 3 on 80's currently. |

I find myself pretty good compared to most people.
In school terms, I'm good.
In Scorehero terms, I'm not that good. _________________

I have played for about 1 year and I am ranked Top 200 in GH3. I think my progress is pretty good for the amount of time I have invested in this game. _________________

I'm a good expert player, and just sightread GH:WT without a problem. I've played for 2 1/2 years and can FC quite a few songs, but I play for fun. So I normally only play a song 1 time, then I move on. |

I got GH3 in early march 2008. I played it so much, and eventually 5 starred everything except TTFAF (still haven't 5 starred it, but probably could if I played it again). I got GH2 in early June, and haven't looked back since. I started practicing Jordan in late june, got 400K on the 4 month anniversary of picking up a plastar and I FCed Jordan on October 7th, 6 months after I started playing. I dunno if Witwix got it earlier, but still, I learned pretty fast. I also fc'd Beast and the Harlot 5 months after I started playing. I'm working on fc'ing all of GH2, which is within reach as long as I find a way to play troggy on PAL. I play quite a lot, not as much as in the summer but it takes a fair chunk of my time. _________________

Harmonix games are just too good not to play them for 8 years. Officially back in action. |

bullshit.
anyway, I'm horrible by SH standards but I've never lost to someone in real life, or even really came close, so I'm content with my skill level. people like chris piss me off (FCing Misirlou after playing GH for one month, and not even knowing what hopo's were), but I think regardless of how much time I ever put into GH, I'd never be that good. I think guys like that have something in their brains, or blood, some immense coordination that I just don't have, and never will. sucks. _________________

I struggle with songs anymore. I got so used to playing while pregnant and holding the guitar weird it's caused a burden now that I'm not pregnant. It's like learning the game all over. I also pretty much learned the more relaxed you are the easier it is. I've struggled at times through fast sections because I had my hand to tense, with it relaxed I breezed right through those sections. _________________

I think that I should be way better than I am. I got the game July 2007, GH2.
I play on average 1-3 hours a night. I have 5 starred everysong in everygame but...Satch Boogie, TTFAF and Six.
I should easily have a lot more FC's if i tried. |

I'm at the point now where I can beat just about any song on expert, but prefer to play on hard so I can get higher scores, streaks, etc.
I'm happy with that. _________________

i started with guitar hero 2 maybe 2 years ago, and started playing expert in about a week if i remember right.
i used to play guitar hero 2 alot but not so much guitar hero 3. i usually go through perods where i play every day, and then not play for a month or more.
2 days ago i borrowed gh3 for xbox rather than ps2, its soooo much better and now coz the audio is in synch properly, i immediately FC'd the cult of personality solo and 600k'd ttfaf.
So im happy with my skill level, but think i could've been so much better if i had guitar hero 3 on xbox a year ago..oh well |
