i hate douchebags. theres this kid at my school whos like "i can beat you all at gh" so i say "hey wanna come over my house friday?" (hes my friend) he also doesnt know i play gh and im pretty decent.(i played on medium/hard last time he came over mid summer) he came over and hes like "oh no im not playing gh, i dont feel like it". he says his favorite song is NotB. turns out he can just barely beat it 73%

The only tournament I went to didn't really have any douchebags, I'm surprised so many people are assholes like that. I went to a lot of Halo tournaments and there was plenty of shit talking but it always seemed like it was in good spirits.

Damn... people are into Super Smash Bros, I never knew it was taken into consideration amongst people this much, though it is very popular.

Anyway, in DDR tournament, my friend and I were in the finals, he's ALWAYS better than me, he has good timing and all that shit. But, to mine and everyone else's there, I won 2 out of 3 songs in the set. IT WAS SHWEET.

Sadly, I never got to play in a GH/RB tournament yet. nothing like that around here, unfortunately.

I am "this douchebag" that you people refer to, usually. I can't help it, trashing the guy you're about to demolish makes the win doubly good, no matter what game it is. It's always fun to rip randomers on Live, and I do it at every opportunity in person. Sucks if you lose after mouthing off though. What was that saying, "Don't let your mouth write a cheque that your ass can't cash"? If you talk shit you've gotta be able to take a loss.

I'm not sure if this counts as a douchebag, but I was playing a guy online GH3 a few weeks back, and after beating him, I say good game and prepare to move on, when I notice I have a message from him with a picture attached.

It was a photo of his ballsack.

I was playing at this one tournament, and I was playing against these people that weren't very good, and on hard. So I picked Jordan, and I played it behind my head. Then during the ending, I turned around (because it repeats itself and it's easy) and played behind my head without looking. I made a younger kid cry.

I play semi-competitively.
And it's other people who are saying I was never hit by falco. Of course I took damage, but i was never KOd. And the Falco player never referenced tiers. What he said was along the lines of "Why do you play Ganon lol he sux hes so slow falco is the best because hes so fast!"
Also, if you think you can tell how a match will end just by who the two are playing as, with no knowledge of the context of the battle or the skill level and playing styles of the players, you're an idiot.
Tiers are a "most broken" list. That's why when a huge exploit is found for a character they suddenly leap to top tier. Players like Gimpyfish and Emo$ prove that any character can dominate. There are even some pro mewtwos but I haven't met any of them.
