This game is so damn glitchy. Here's all the problems I've encountered.

1. Notes randomly miss. You can be strumming along and all of a sudden your streak and multiplier just drop. You strummed the exact right number of notes, but the game decided to ignore one. It's about one in 200 that do this.

This is NOT a guitar problem, GH3 and WT have never done this even once.

2. The songs are not charted right. I'm not talking about the chart in relation to the actual song (ex: "BiF is overcharted!!!!!"), I'm talking about the chart in relation to what you have to play. Certain parts randomly speed up and slow down, the game lags sometimes, also contributes to number 1.

3. You cannot play a streak of notes in a row without missing 70% of the time

Kinda same lines as the other two. The beginning of Kings and Queens is near impossible to strum without dropping your streak and then overstrumming at the end, despite strumming all the notes perfectly.

ex (not K&Q): :(streak drops)(overstrum)

why does it do this? It's really annoying. I've NEVER hit that one part in All Day and All of the Night right after the thing (it's like ), i've counted strums and everything it will ALWAYS overstrum or understrum.

Once again never seen this in GH3 or WT. Actually once in WT, in Hotel California, but I think I'm just playing that wrong.

4. Lag calibration doesn't work

I've tried this thing so many times, it says random numbers of ms for the video one (between 2 and 33), and audio always says 0, I don't really know what it means but I guess it means the video is fucked up.

Finally I don't know if this should go here or in the Technique and Gameplay forum, but it doesn't really fit there, I just don't understand what's wrong with the game. Is this a common issue? I've had it since the week it came out and it's always been like this.

I'm having the same issue. I calibrated the lag and some parts are perfect and some are way off.

Which version of the game are you playing?

I've played the PS2 version and don't remember having these problems, but that one was re-processed by Budcat instead of directly made by NeverSoft.

I play the PS2 version of GH:A and I don't have any problems with it. It runs just fine.

Yes which system is it? Because I've encountered absolutely no problems with mine. I really think that even though you said it had nothing to do with your guitar, that sounds like the only possible thing. The game doesn't just miss notes...

I'm a Wiier, and the only problem I have is that my LP's started to drop notes, no game issues.

I own it on the 360 and i have encountered none of these problems. Are you sure its not the guitar? If not then i guess it might be a bad disc or something?

I have the Wii version, and maybe it is just the crappy les paul giving out but I doubt it because it just doesn't do it on any other game. Ever. And it does it a lot in Aerosmith.

I played it for the 360 and had no problems. I had every song in the setlist five starred.

I've played it for Wii and have had the lag problem (speeds up and then slows down, or just irregular speeds). It seemed to happen randomly on different songs, but I attributed it to the fact it wasn't a legitimate copy ("backup" copy). I don't remember missing notes I feel I should have hit though. I didn't play that long though because I quickly realized how much I don't like Aerosmith. The songs from the other bands are pretty good though. Starting to get off topic so I'll end it.

I've never had these problems on the Wii version. Perhaps your disc is faulty or scratched?

There was one song that was dropping a couple notes that I would have sworn on my life that I hit on the 360 version.
