I remember getting Guitar Hero with my birthday money, but my birthday is before a federal holiday so I had to go to Wal-Mart at midnight and then came back and tried to play my new game half-asleep in blistering July night heat |

Just so you know, that still means you're good. What the hell future time are you from?

in the future guitar hero is played with a neural connection and is a global sport, playing Devil Went Down To Georgia on Expert on an old guitar using your toes is a novelty past time. |

I remember on my last summer holidays I was very anxious to check SH to see if Raining Blood had been FC'd. Now there are a million FCs of that and I think it was better back then
And I remember my first accomplishment, which was FCing No One Knows on Medium! I found out by myself that GH1 hopo's were useless |

Easily my favorite Guitar Hero memory. Remember when a Jordan FC was believed to cause the universe to explode?
Nowadays, a Jordan FC from a top player would probably get less than ten comments. Crazy how much we've progressed.
Also, remember when HellAshes was considered to be the unparalleled God of Guitar Hero? Or better yet, ES942? I wasn't even there for that. |

Yeah, I was here back in the days of GH1. I remember ES dominating all others.
I remember how happy I was the first time I passed CFH and BatM. Getting Guitar God with one lucky CFH run. Those were indeed the days. _________________

For me I have to say beating Bark At The Moon on medium was amazing for me at the time
But for the community all that comes to mind is 1 word

My fondest memory is, for some reason, beating Slash.
Why?
It was the grindingest accomplishment I ever had. Somehow. I starting playing GH2 a month before GH3 came out, and had beaten Jordan on expert about a week before GH3 came out. I stopped playing, and got GH3 at Christmas, I blew through the game up until Slash... It took me something like 500 tries to beat him... I beat Raining Blood within a day, and Lou on my 4th try, but for some reason Slash took extremely long. Even when I went to go try passing TTFAF, it only took a couple days of practice, and did not stand up to the Slash grind.
I can now beat him every time, obviously. |

The greatest GH rivalry of all time.
ES942 vs. krimsunmunkeys
Nothing can come close. Those two were back in forth for 1st on GH1 minutes at a time.
One thing I will really miss, my climb to the top of the GH2 leaderboard. It was just so much of an achievement to climb ranks, set yourself goals, long-term and short-term, pulling off new FCs, thinking that you'll reach your limit, but never do. But, once you're at the top, you just lose that fire to play to get better. The only way I can really live that is by doing that on RB2 drums. |

I was forced to play GH at Scranton and loved it. I came home and purchased my own copy, only to learn that GH2 was coming out in two weeks. That was a great feeling. All that fun crammed into one month.. _________________

I Haven't been playing Guitar Hero for a long time, but I Still have some great memories nonetheless
I remeber I had finally beat The Devil Goes Down To Georgia after owning GH3 for only a week...
...Then I borrowed a GH2 guitar and the game for ps2 and failed miserably at Free Bird for over 2 months
I JUST passed it last week, and i think I blew out my vocal cords
Either way, Good Times...
...Good times |
