I made a big poll covering all the songs in Guitar Heros I-III. There are three things to rate each song on - the difficulty, the quality of the song itself, and how much fun it is to play. Each game has three pages - one for each of these qualities.

You can fill out as much or as little of each survey as you like. If you only do part of it but want to do more later, you can always go back to the form and it will automatically resume from where you left off when you last submitted.

(you psychos apparently *love* GH3's soul-crushing eighth tier)

I'll update these occasionally, basically whenever I feel like it.

You should've made it on a 5 point scale.

This, IMO 10 is a little too broad.

Anyways, I'd be interested in the results of this.

Filled out all of them and was immediately hit with an error as soon as I hit "Finished." That's a shame.

Keep the 1-10

I'm guessing most of the bonus songs will be rated low on sound quality.

Sorry, I screwed up. I was getting a disproportionately high number of "1" votes, so it seemed like some browsers were just automatically checking whatever the leftmost button happened to be. So to prevent this, I added a "no opinion" option. Unfortunately, this deleted all the previous votes (there were 25 of them at the time).

And I think I'll keep the 1-10 scale. If you like the 1-5 scale better, just double whatever number you would have voted on a 1-5 scale.

The more available options the better. It's more accurate.

I think most people just gave the songs a 1...

Five people gave "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" a 1 for difficulty, and all five of them gave 1's to almost everything. I'm pretty sure that indicates something went wrong. Either that or I'm underestimating how much effort trolls put into their work.

cool, only problem is "effortless" "average" and "arthritic" are the scale guides for how enjoyable and how fun the songs are

God damnit...

Ok, I fixed that, but everyone's responses to questions 11 and 21 (not 11 through 21... just those two) were lost. But the survey should have remembered everyone's responses to all the others, so if you responded previously, all you need to do is click the link again and re-submit questions 11 and 21. All your others should still be there.

I think the difficulty scale should max out at very difficult or something other than arthritic. Some songs (mauvais garcon comes to mind) are "arthritic" but also not very difficult...

Did you use a 10-point scale just so you could get this?

Code:

                  Average song quality:

Raining Blood           6.666667

This is a good idea IMO. I'm interested in the results too.

I'm not changing it. If I do, I lose all the previous votes. Again.

And it doesn't surprise me in the slightest to see more evidence that the devil made Raining Blood.
