Also, does anyone own NoLimits (NL) and are good at it? I LOVE it, but I have no idea how to use AHG.
I'm pretty sure 98% of people who read this are pretty sure I'm on drugs haha. |

You best believe I'm going to ride the Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland ALL summer. If anyone is curious, this ride is self-explanatory.
Just wait until the epic first drop lol

It's pretty damn intense. _________________

You know, I used to get a season pass for 6F every year but since I go to Great America (Chicago) its always packed, expensive, and too far away to go for anything less than the whole day. $20 per meal is just about average in the park which is unbelieveable.
Anyway, Im going to CP this year which will be fun. TTD FTW!!!
Boy, I remember my old thread. I'll dig it up if I can manage to find it. _________________

I...love...rollercoasters...
I can't wait for Cedar Point over the summer. Also a fun fact, I take my best photos when I'm on a Roller Coaster.
Example:
Rock 'n Roller Coaster @ Disneyworld
<3 El Toro Kingda Ka (EFF YOU PIEMAN <3)
though, that initial blast is incredible. I really wanted to be part of the "rollback" on that.

^This coaster made me say "Holy Shit". I've never been on this ride. BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
This is probably the fastest launch coaster I've ever seen.
There is a ride similar to this a Knott's Berry Farm, California. But it's nowhere near as EPIC as this monstrosity!
JUST LOOK AT THAT LAUNCH SPEED! CHRIST! |
I have been on the one at Knotts Berry far (X-cellerator) and the 1 in the video (Kingda Ka) and I have actually gone in the front row of both. Kingda Ka is MUCH more intense. I almost blacked out from sitting in the front.
I am actually going to 6 Flags in New Jersey this Summer so that is gonna be amazing. I still haven't gone on Toro because it was closed the last time I went, but I want to go on that thing. Cedar Point is my favorite park by far. I might have already posted this, but I am not sure and I am bored so I am going to post my 5 favorite roller coasters that I have been on.
5. The Incredible Hulk - Island of Adventure
I know that most people wouldn't consider this that great of a roller coaster, but it has a special spot in my heart (I know it sounds strange). I went on this sitting in the front at night once and it was just an amazing experience. The launch hill that goes straight to a barrel roll down to a drop to hovering above the water straight to hovering above the water is just great. I also live 4 hours from the park so it is the closest major Roller Coaster to where I live.
4. Tatsu - Six Flags Magic Mountain
Tatsu is an amazing treat for anybody going to Magic Mountian. Iirc, it is the tallest flying coaster in the world and is just very intense. It has a psuedo-loop which has incredible amounts of g-force. If you have been on it, you know what I am talking about.
3. X2 - Six Flags Magic Mountain
This one of a kind ride is just spectacular in every way, shape or form. Search a video of it and you will see yourself. It has metal music and flamethrowers. Now how awesome is that?
2. Kinda Ka / Top Thrill Dragster
Yes, I put these as one ride because they basically are the same thing. They launch you from 0-128 miles per hour in 2 seconds before sending you 457 feet straight up in the air before falling straight back down that same distance. I actually managed a roll back on top thrill dragster!
1. Millenium Force
This is the best roller coaster in the world. It might not be the tallest or fastest but it is the best. It is very smooth and you get so much air time it is insane. Beware of the bugs.
Edit: And I also like ot take pictures on rides. The only one I have uploaded isn't that great, but it is on the Rockin' Roller Coaster. I'm on the front right (from my perspective) _________________

This person is smart. These are all by far some of the best coasters I've ever ridden. I love roller coasters to death. _________________

Well I just got back. The final results are in.
First Coaster - El Toro- This just blew my mind it was a long wait. The first drop was incredible, and it was a really long track so it was totaly worth it.
Then we went on the Batman - This was so much fun, not as much of a thrill as El Toro, but good.
The last coaster I went on didn't have ANY lines, the let me sit in the cart and go again SIX times in a row. - The Great american Scream Machine. It was so crazy. I loved it so much, which is why I went on it 6 times. By the Fourth time the brain matter was starting to turn into fluid so I had to stop.
Oh and Kingda Fail was closed for the day, So I didn't get to go on it.
EDIT: Pieman: I literaly screamed "Oh My god I just came" while on the drop of El Toro. _________________

erock: It's too bad you didn't get to ride Kingda Ka. Despite it closing randomly, it is an absolutely amazing ride when it is running.
Maybe next time
I'm getting roller coaster fever.....I'm getting my Great Adventure season pass this week, so maybe I will try to up the amount of ScoreHero get-together's this season. Last year I think we got 4 trips in, so let's aim for......I don't know....ten? _________________

It's not random, it's just either poorly designed or so complex it breaks down all the time. I'd like to think it's a bit of both.

And I MIGHT make one of those. If we even get to go this year.
Just in case someone here's never been before or missed some of the coasters last time, this is my personal opinion on the coasters at GA. Someone will invariably disagree here but I like this list. - El Toro - Extreme ejector airtime on the first drop that will make you shit bricks. Gratuitous g-forces the entire time, massive drops, plenty of head chopper, and a slightly rough ending. Ride it or die.
- Kingda Ka - The fact that it's short doesn't detract from the fact that those 20 seconds from the time you launch to the brakes never stop being amazing. The launch is completely mind blowing.
- Batman: the Ride - Really intense inverted coaster with tight inversions that never let up until the end. Corkscrews are a tad rough so brace yourself.
- Medusa (now Bizarro) - Fun floorless ride, a ton of hang time, and the effect of no floor is best in the front row. No idea how the new fire effects are yet.
- Superman: Ultimate Flight - The flying position is really fun, the pretzel loop is overwhelming and amazing, and the in-line twist at the end is rather interesting, but in between there's quite a bit of boring.
- Great American Scream Machine - It's a decent steel coaster and one of the first modern steel loopers, but it's a bit rough and not as fun as some modern coasters.
- Nitro - Not a bad ride, but it lacks in real forces outside of the helix and the only decent airtime is on the last four camelbacks. Gives the feeling of being floorless.
- Rolling Thunder - It's in tough shape, the trains almost never race, and it's rough as hell, but it's got some airtime and a few good hills. I'd still probably avoid it, but it's worth at least one shot anyways.
- Skull Mountain - The least boring kiddie/family ride here. Has some okay floater airtime and a few sharp turns but overall BORING and not worth a long wait, if any.
- Runaway Mine Train - Meh, mine train ride. Skip it unless you have to ride everything in the park.
- The Dark Knight Coaster - I struggled not to put this dead last, but it has one nice drop.
- Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train - Why?

I'll Definitly try to come to the next one Graf, However I am In Massachusetts, so it will take alot of prior planning, and it will have to be in the summer.
EDIT: They said that the Kingda Ka was understaffed that day... buuuut it was a Satrday, so thats bullshit, The ride is fucked, we must say goodbye to it. _________________
