The No Doubt song needs to be "Bathwater" and the Queens of the Stone Age song needs to be "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire." Oh gosh that would be so great!

I really hope this isn't another GHWT-alike

The list looks promising but so did WT's list. I'll probably wait on reviews from around here before I get it.

I'm more of an oldie music guy (late 60s/70s) and don't care for alot of "today/modern" music which looks like this will have. I really hope this is an awesome game though.

Wow there's alot of exciting stuff planned for this game, this is EPIC!
Muse, Rammstein, Megadeth, Kiss, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Eagles of Death Metal, Rolling Stones, and so much more are all epic people/bands.
Also if the Rammstein song they pick is Du Hast I would pay the full price of this game just for that 1 song on the disk by itself. But I think its much more likely for them to pick Amerika, also epic.
If Smells Like Teen Spirit is true, that is also epic, seeing as it's the only Nirvana song I actually knew before GH.
Challenges sound fun!

Other exciting stuff is any instrument combination, saving people who fail is exciting aswell as individual star power.
125 songs in playlist sounds insane!

Sounds epic, and it can only get better, can't wait!

I have one big unanswered question about GH:5 -

Will they find new places to stick lightning everywhere?!?

Currently about 50% of Guitar Hero graphics are lightning, and they've EVEN STARTED TO CHART lightning. But I feel like this is a Pizza Hut and cheese in/on the crust situation: I have faith Neversoft will find a way to cram more in!!!

(Fun fact: if you want to make Guitar Hero look like Rock Band, all you have to do is replace all of the unnecessary lightning with random characters who look exactly like people who used to ask me for spare change when I lived in Eugene, Oregon)

It seems like as more games are released, the number of songs ive actually heard of goes down. Anyone else experience this?

Also, its about time for Smells Like Teen Spirit to get into a GH game

EDIT: Actually, it wouldnt be that weird at all. Back before GHWT first came out, EGM had an article where they got to look at WT and when demonstrating the music studio Neversoft used "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as a chart to demonstrate it.

I would have to agree with the "too much lightning" statement. I'd like to see different effects for different styles like in GHIII, sort of. And more subtle effects, especially if they are going for a more realistic looking game.
