When i first heard, I had an emotional reaction. I didn't cry or anything but my heart sank and I felt worse than I ever have for the death of someone i didn't know personally. I had just seen a commercial with him in it the morning of the day I heard and I didn't think anything of it.
I will really miss the guy. Not saying this guy was better or worse than MJ but this guy you saw ALL THE TIME.
I'm scared as fuck if they ever make a new oxiclean commercial _________________

I was swimming at my friend abbys house when her annoying sister came out and said "billy mays died". I couldn't believe her. Sure enough when i got home it was on the front page of my internet browser. I was so crushed. He just seemed like such a great guy and i cant believe he's gone. R.I.P BILLY MAYS |

Most products i have ever been pitched have come from his powerful voice. He will be missed. _________________

Nice post smokyprogg.
I guess the thing that makes Billy Mays death sad is that...even if you do or do not believe in heaven, there is no other man who should go to heaven. _________________

God that interview with Sully was so brutal. It was just heart breaking man.
Edit: FUCK, HE WAS THE NEW SPOKESPERSON FOR TACO BELL?!
That would have been perfection in commercial. _________________

Might want to fix that link
While (in my opinion) the three prior celebrity deaths were somewhat predictable (since I've only know the Michael Jackson figure during his troubled years, it didn't impact me that much), the taking of a life that seemed to inspire only positive things (whether it be about his product or his upbeat persona) in an instant is truly shocking.
The interview smokyprogg posted is tear-enducing. Just like Anthony said, he is going out on top.

I've been in mourning all day.
I was waiting for the bus to leave for the train station Sunday and we were about to leave. One of our sister crews from Philmont told us Billy Mays was dead. After Philmont, we barely believed anything. We didn't even think about MJ being real or not since we were told on the trail. Anyways, we get on the bus and one guy goes to check his phone. We are sitting there going "Haha, Billy Mays is dead. Nothing is believable at these scout camps. They all lie to you all the time." While I'm in the seat freaking out, everyone is making jokes. Then the guy checking his phone goes "Oh my God! Billy Mays is dead!" and I flip out. I've been sad ever since.
Rest in peace Billy. _________________

I was upset at the lack of actual tribute videos, so I worked for about 3 hours on my own
Given my limited resources (corrupted YouTube downloads EVERYWHERE) I'm thrilled with the results. _________________
