You know. Nice quiet, relaxing music.

I've seen someone say that they had really messed up dreams while falling asleep to slayer.

I think that's more messed up than any of those dreams.

Anyway, I never listen to music for sleeping, but if I did, it would be this.

I usually listen to Knockin' On Heaven's Door (Live) by Guns N' Roses before I fall asleep. I really love the live version, and it makes me sleepy for some reason... I fall asleep to that song at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Honestly, you say that as a joke, but oftentimes I do put my iPod on Shuffle and just listen to whatever. I still manage to fall asleep that way. Maybe it's just the fact that there's music at all helps me fall asleep, regardless of what it is.

Hooray, I'm not the only one!

I actually listened to whole albums, City of Evil and Waking the Fallen.
I still love A7X

I use A7X too. I just listen to whaevers playing on my iPod when I feel sleepy. Sometimes I just wake up at 2Am and start rocking out, only to realize my heapdhones are stll in my ears. I always fall asleep with my iPod playing.
Buckethead words great too!

Generally SPP. FrankieB's voice is just way too sexy...

But otherwise I always listen to Buckethead or Dream Theater. Dragonforce worked until I started waking at 2 AM to Fury of the Storm blaring

DO NOT listen to comedy albums or anything that involves talking. I have tried this I end up just paying attention to what they are saying and it does not make me sleepy at all. Other than those, any music on my iPod helps me get to sleep.

For me I usually flip between SPP ( It's always Frankie B's music) or the radio where every night they have this radio show that talks about sex and relationships.

I normally just listen to some podcasts(Like starpower and Question guys. Not forgeting howstuffworks), then go on to listen to some progressive rock. Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush and Dream Theater just help me relax and get a good nights sleep.

I usually fall asleep to random whole albums (Last night was Brand New - The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me) But I have formulated a "Sweet Dreams" playlist.

Padmasana by Buckethead
Luca by Brand New
Careful With That Axe, Eugene by Pink Floyd
Run Through the Jungle by CCR
8 Million Stories by A Tribe Called Quest
Go to Sleep by Radiohead
(Nice Dream) by Radiohead
The Sky Might Fall by Kid Cudi
Murderers by John Frusciante
Southern Point by Grizzly Bear
Rainbows by Madvillain

yes Yes YES!

Also, Quantic - The 5th Exotic.
If you are into the drum n bass style of electronica (like DJ Shadow and RJD2), this album is a masterpiece.

Everyone I show it to has a different favorite song.

Just for the record people, instrumental songs are the best. I hate when I try to fall asleep and I end up listening to the lyrics and thinking about them XD

More shit.

Shoegaze/Indie playlist!

Geraldine- Glasvegas
Three Seed- Silversun Pickups
Time to Pretend- MGMT
White Ink- Deerkhunter
Ocean Breathes Salty- Modest Mouse
PDA- Interpol

I'm asleep probably 2 songs in

I like to go to bed with my Eisley library on shuffle. Very relaxing.
