Yeah, has anyone else seen the chart yet? I don't see how I'm ever going to 5 star this song.
SPOILERS, HIGHLIGHT
16th hihat and snare pattern, on the blue pad? (RB kit) lolwut
Hammerhead weird pattern, but a lot faster.
Really weird R Y B Y B Y B Y B Y B pattern
So, yeah, any tips on this? I crossed my arms and still did pretty bad. I can lead rolls on my left, like the yellow pattern, but the other one? Nononono.
EDIT: Another try, 4.5 stars or so, 92% _________________

I can barely pass it. That stupid RYBYBYBYBYB thing is eating my soul at the moment. Other than that, I can actually hit the 16 hi-hat thing. I don't know my sticking, but I'm pretty sure I hit the bass at the same time as my right hand hits blue. _________________

For the RYBYBYBYBY part I cant really hit the beginning but once the base pedal hits come in just try to match your right hand to it and keep that beat. _________________

Well, I've FC'd it, and for the YBYBYBY part I just did crossover, I guess it's something you have to just get used to. _________________

I recommend the crossover, or just ignore the snare and then hit it. Use your left hand during the quick orange part to hit snare, and activate OD during the fast yellows. Shouldn't be too tough. |

What I do is during the trill part start with my Left on the yellow and my red on the red and then start from there. Its WAYYYY easier to do then _________________

Yup, for that one part, you'll wanna crossover. For a while I kept doing LL for the RY and the YRY part, but that wasn't working. Then I just crossed over one time (aka start on right, so its RLRL for RYOY). Everything technical is way easier to do on a set with cymbals, especially the WT ones.
Now, the X+ aspect of this song... practice fast stuff. I still haven't figured out that triple bass thing they throw at you every other time in the chorus or whatever, but I do have the standard 16th notes, which are about as easy as they sound after a while. _________________

For a RB kit you can either cross your hands when you hit the BYBY part with your left hand on top or you can cross your right hand over to hit the R and then bring it back over to hit the rest of the Bs while your left hand hits the Ys the whole time (as shown in Sublime's vid) _________________

Its actually very simple....when the snare comes up, hit it with your right and move it back towards the cymbal, then you just do LRLRLRLRLR....so its just R(snare)LRLRLRLRLRLRL.....its a bit awkward to start, but once you combo it you'll feel it. U Need WT drums...RB drums just don't cut it... |

The thing is u have to be exactly on beat with the cymbal thing, once u get used too it, it's not that hard. I've 5 starred it. |
