There is someone I know who competed in track and field in the olympics, and took steroids for 10 years. He says literally EVERYONE back then was on them. The thing is, if everyone else is doing them, you don't have a chance unless you do them too. He was friends with Ben Johnson, who had to give up his record because he was busted.
However, I don't think Usain is on them. He just seems like too genuine of a person from what I have heard from my jamaican friend who met him in Jamaica (Long story, but it is 100% legit, he has pictures with him). He just has a build that is completely built for speed. In Jamaica, track and field is literally a national event. People skip school to watch the national championships. If it was found that he was on drugs it would be a complete national disgrace.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt about drugs. He has gotten by the tests, so its fine with me! He is such an amazing person to watch. _________________

Harmonix games are just too good not to play them for 8 years. Officially back in action. |

Check out the last 1:30 or so of this video. He's always been dominating, even at age 15. I highly highly doubt he would already be on steroids or performance enhancing drugs at age 15. He's just freakishly good |

In that same ESPN video, they also said that he was suffering with a GROIN PROBLEM throughout all 4 rounds of competition. So now we can say "what time can he run without a groin problem?" This guy is a complete beast. _________________

He's actually kind of an oddity when it comes to sprinting because he's about 5-7" taller than most past 100 and 200 sprinting champions. The fastest sprinters usually range between 5'10" and 6'0"... 6'5" is almost unheard of.
Michael Johnson: 6'0"
Maurice Green: 5'9"
Shawn Crawford: 5'11"
Tyson Gay: 5'11"
Ben Johnson: 5'10"
The list goes on... that's one of the things that really shocks me about
Usain. _________________

I have been researching this astonishing feat since he did it.
I dont think at all that he is on any illegal performance enhancing drugs. usually the target of PEDs are faster muscle twitch. but if you watch him run against other sprinters, his legs move at nearly 25% slower than all the other runners. his full-speed strides are just over 9 feet between each footfall. usually sprinters are somewhere bewteen 6-8 feet. combine this with his surprising start strength and you get the recipe for incredible speed. if he could somehow move his legs at the same speed as tyson gays, with bolts start speed and leg length, i dont think theres any doubt he could get into the low 9s. Gay took 46 steps to get the 100m, while bolt only takes 41. _________________

I think his height won't really let him get that kind of leg turnover. _________________

Counter Arguement | I meant same stride but a faster paced same stride. _________________
