I'm still getting music from the bands suggested here. But here are the albums I've gotten so far, and I must say, that I love them all.
Bathory - Bathory
Emperor - Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk
Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse
!T.O.O.H.! - Rad a Trest
Ulcerate - Everything is Fire
Ulcerate - Of Fracture and Failure
Thanks to Nixxin, MetalheadNorm and Guitarroker for helping me build on my music collection.
Next up for me to get for bands are:
Dissection, Morbid Angel, Atheist, Vader, Windir and Obscura. After that I'm gonna finish off the list of bands you put Nixxin and then get all the albums that Guitarroker put for Tech Death.
Thanks again guys, you've been great help, _________________

Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane* and The Somberlain
Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness*, Blessed are the Sick, Covenant, Domination, Formulas Fatal to the Flesh, maybe Gateways to Annihilation
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence* and Piece of Time
Vader - Not sure, but De Profundis kicks ass
Windir - Sóknardalr* without a doubt
Obscura - Retribution, haven't heard their latest but it seems okay, so get that too I guess.
* is my favorite, if there's no star I probably haven't listened to the albums enough to really regard them as greats.
This one is currently kicking my ass:
Been listening to it a lot lately. Hideous death/doom, this album is definitely up there in terms of crushing brutality and disgusting melodies. Check it out, it's great. _________________

So has anyone heard the new Black Dahlia Murder album Deflorate? I haven't listened to it yet, but I want to know if it's as good as Miasma or their other previous stuff before I preorder it. _________________

Ulcerate - Everything is Fire
Just gave this album a listen. Incredible! I honestly don't know where to begin talking about this... Well, I'm pretty sure the most common complaint pertaining to technical death metal nowadays is the lack of emotion in the music. The music feels as though the musicians are just, for the lack of a better word, "wanking" their instruments. You need something more, right? Well here is what you've been looking for... a technical death metal band with an atmosphere. Ulcerate have been making a name for themselves in the death metal scene, ever since the release of their debut Of Fracture and Failure which is a masterpiece in my opinion. Almost post-death metal with a very technical touch to it. I love it! Everything is Fire is definitely not any worse, but Of Fracture and Failure was a little more memorable in my opinion. There's not a lot of variety, which is good, because the sound Ulcerate have achieved is a truly unique one.
This album starts out with Drown Within, a track that perfectly sets the tone for a very otherworldly musical experience, and quite a disgusting album at that. Ulcerate emphasize dissonance and atmosphere with their music, but don't get me wrong, the album doesn't sound bad at all. It sounds dissonant at times, but quite stable at other times. This album is absolutely relentless. Some of the most intense technical death metal I've ever heard without being completely ridiculous wank, while still setting a very dark and dreary mood. This album, among some others make me very optimistic regarding the future of death metal, especially technical death metal. What Ulcerate have created is another finely crafted masterpiece, something that will undoubtedly become a classic in good time. I say give it a listen, it's surely going to surprise you.
(I copied this review from another site, as I don't really have time to reword it, but I hope the words don't lose their meaning) _________________

I'm pretty sure my friend will be there. He's friends with all the guys in Vektor and that just sounds like one badass concert. Wish I had my license/a car to go. Oh yeah not uptight parents that won't let me ride with ANYONE. |

It's nowhere near like Nocturnal or Miasma. Has a completely different feel. But overall I thought it was a good album.
I've uploaded all the videos to YT if you want to listen to the album. www.youtube.com/shewantsreven _________________

These guys are INSANE!!!!!!!!!! Amazing stuff, got into them about a month ago, and their stuff is just inhuman. (Thier name is Unholy if you can't read it) A very cool approach on Doom Metal/Black Doom. Thier new albums are much more of an Avant-Garde approach. Definetly check them out ment to post them here earlier but forgot. The singing style gets some getting used to but definetly check them out. _________________

I don't want to spoil it, but when you say different, do you mean that it's more composed? Because I love the guitars in Miasma but the vocals are tough to grasp and thus the songs take several listens to catch on. However, once I did run through the album a few times I loved it. I'm hoping Deflorate has vocals that have more distinct melodies that can get stuck in your head, because they're previous work has lacked that. It got better on Nocturnal, but if they can match great vocal melodies with the already great guitar and bass melodies, they'll be a top notch band in my group. _________________
