After seeing the Sleepwalker FC on his channel, I can actually start to comprehend, never having played MF and therefore not knowing how hard it is to get 1,000,000+
He's been playing as long as me, and the same age as me and yet he's unbelievably better than me. Ah well, guess I'm decent for my age
Edit: nevermind, that was Zach's Sleepwalker vid. Still he is incredibly good, having a world record _________________

I played this kid on xbox a while ago, he wasn't that bad, definitely nowhere near the best, but better than a lot of people _________________

Just a note here: this kid got this score in a store while going for a world record. This means more pressure, possibly different controller, different standing/sitting position in relation to tv at home, different calibration, and he still pulls out a 1.019 million point score. Granted, some of the best players on here (if they know the path) could probably pull out about 1.04 or 1.05 mil no problem, but given all of the conditions, this kid's score was pretty darn good. _________________

We're not denying the fact that it is a very good score, but it shouldn't be the world record..... I don't think I'm that great but if I spent some time on it I could probably get a similar score. |

Great, then go do it. If someone can beat it, then they should go and do it. Unless they've done it through the process that it needs to be to get the world record, then nobody should be bitching about it. This kid went through all the steps necessary, and then got a great score. Until somebody else does it then it's still considered the world record. _________________

If this site was GuinessHero, the news would have to make a daily segment to appreciate us all. Congratulations to the kid, but still _________________

Very true. It is a little annoying how the "World Records" for Guitar Hero tend to be scores that, while good, are far from the true World Record. I don't have anything against the guy himself though, because he KNOWS that he isn't the best in the world. He's pretty damn good, but he's not even in the same category as the best players. Thankfully, he seems to have acknowledged this.
This situation makes me wonder how many other things in the Guinness World Record books are false (as in, not the true records) regarding other hobbies/things that I don't know enough about to realize that I'm being lied to. _________________

World records are world records because they are verified by an non-biased source under controlled conditions.
If people can make fake Taylor Swift porn videos, then why not a GH one - especially with how easy it is to obtain a bot these days. This is why I like having Guinness verify them because you simply can't cheat it. Nobody REALLY knows if every single #1 score on here is legit - you just have to have a little faith.
Guinness takes faith out of the equation... _________________

Does anyone know if they accept hyperspeed yet? I'm thinking of going for this next week, but without HS4 I'm pretty screwed lol. |
