I can't believe I never thought of checking online for upcoming albums in bulk. I guess I won't be missing out on albums cause I didn't know they existed anymore (*cough*Pathogen*cough*). Got me a list in Notepad now of all I'm even remotely excited for in 2011.
March Blood Stain Child
March 11 Sylosis
March 15 Across the Sun
March 21 Protest the Hero
April Tracedawn*
April Amaranthe*
April 15 Scar Symmetry*
May Arch Enemy*
June Unearth
June Anterior
December Detonation
December Amoral
December Insomnium
December Dragonforce (for the lulz)
December Mors Principium Est*
December Nothnegal
* for super excitement. Also Deadlock's Bizarro World isn't supposed to be out till Feburary but I found it online. It's a fucking fantastic album. _________________

Interested to see what D4s is going to come up with without ZP.
This is probably my current favorite thread on Scorehero.
More previews, updates, etc, please. I can see some great discussion coming out of this. :P _________________

ya know I heard great things about the Mitochondrion album but didn't get the time to listen to it.
The Dopamine debut is going to be coming out sometime this year, CAN'T wait to get my hands on that, truly a great band. _________________

The new Gorguts album is by far my most anticipated release at the moment and Wolf's new album should be good. Hibria's Blind Ride is pretty good, just as solid as their previous effort. _________________

What are your guys opinions on Devildriver's new album "Beast"? It just came out tuesday. I gotta say I really like it, better than Pray For Villains, but The Last Kind Of Words is still the best in my opinion.
It's very high intensity all the way through with some nice technical work by everyone. I find it very easy to just listen to the album from start to finish, which isn't always easy. _________________

I need to pick it up still. I actually liked Pray For Villains, but I was liking the songs they released, so I'm sure to like the album. |

Two albums? Both under "The Devin Townsend Project" or? I still need to pick up the first one; I remember loving one of the songs off of it.
Also, I just got Scale the Summit's "The Collective" from Leprosy916 who pre-ordered it, so if anyone wants it hit me up as long as you promise to get a hard copy at some point. ;] It's a GREAT album! World's different from the first two, which just illustrates their versatility. |

Across the Sun's new album is fantastic. I actually think Pestilence and Rapture was a little better though. Patiently awaiting news on the supposed Blood Stain Child album. Hope it surpasses Mozaiq. _________________

Amon Amarth's album is pretty solid. A few songs I really like on it.
Bodom's release was pretty entertaining also.
And for more 2011 news, Megadeth goes into the studio in April, so hopefully a release later this year |
