You think they'd do the 2-2-1-1-1 format by now, especially with all the days off they get in the Finals. |

This is getting pretty amusing. In all honestly, Dirk Nowitzki deserves the ring much more than Lebron. He's playing much better, he's worked a lot harder for it (unlike LeLame who took the easy way out). He's stayed his entire career in Dallas. Plus, considering the Heat can't beat Dirk with a fever shows just how badly they were playing _________________

It wasn't the Heat as a team moreso than it was LeBron James just having a terrible night, offensively AND defensively. If he had anything other than arguably the worst playoff game of his career, Miami's up 3-1 and this series is all but over.
There's two ways I can see this series: Miami's 7 points away from a sweep, and the Mavericks are 3 points away from being up 3-1. That's how close this is. I want the Mavericks to win this series more than the Heat to, but the reality is that this series should have ended last night. The Mavericks won both of their games largely in part to two unexpected things: Game 2's historic collapse, and LeBron James having such a horrible night last night. Dallas can't rely on that again. The bench came through big time for the Mavs, and they'll need it the rest of this series. The rest of the series is gonna be very interesting to say the least...but I say whoever wins game 5 wins the series. _________________

I wouldn't say LeBron did terrible offensively moreso he was afraid to hold on the to ball. How many times did he toss it back to Wade in the second half? He also only took one shot in the 4th quarter. I know players are going to have bad games, and maybe I'm not giving the Mav's D enough credit, but you gotta be more aggressive and get some plays going. |

Or you know....actually play some defense. I mean, watching Dirk hit the game winning shot instead of double-teaming him? That made alot of sense
EDIT: Impressive game Mavs, a victory well earned. Is it fair to wager that Dallas was in control the whole game? Now they just have to win one game in Miami (unknown as to whether that will be difficult or not) _________________

I am literally ecstatic over this. There is NOTHING I'd like to see more now than LeBron lose this, then I have my fingers crossed that the NBA locks out and a salary cap is put in place and the Big 3 never gets a championship.
Ah, what a perfect world that'd be. _________________

Lol, those arrogant pricks deserve it. Here's the kicker: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Video-Sweet-8216-Sick-Dirk-8217-impressions?urn=nba-wp4730 _________________

Not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7...
Not Any.
This has been an awesome finals and has prompted much debate amongst me and my friends about whether NBA is unanimously 'better' than college basketball.
Also J.J. Barea is awesome.
Edit: Yeah I saw that video of Wade and LeBub 'feigning sickness' before Game 5 and I let out a hearty chuckle 'Ho Ho Ho Ho Heat' because when you can see LeBoob's ego out of your bedroom window in Chicago, and he averages like 2.2 points in the 4th quarter or whatever, it's time for a hearty laugh. Ho Ho Ho Ho

Mavs gotta win game 6 to win the finals.
If the Heat force a game 7, they will win game 7. Mark my words _________________

Bandwagoning with the Mavericks.
Also, JJ Barea has the Aphex Twin grin. _________________

First half analysis: Large runs by both teams, James was red hot, then went cold, and Dirk is 1 for 12. 1 for 12?? But his team is still up by two. I have a feeling this game is NOT going to be decided by Wade, James, Bosh, or Dirk.
Also, I gotta say Jason Terry has a great way of talking about his teammates. His candor and mic presence make me believe that he'll make a great coach one day. _________________

10 point game with 2:27 left, Nowitzki 4-7 in the 4th, and those 3 offensive boards within 6:00 left really hurt Miami... Looks like it's time to party in Dallas! _________________

Dirk shows us that hard work pays off. Take that as a lesson, LeQuit _________________
