Going to a Buckethead concert must be pretty awesome! I have seen videos on Youtube of what it's like to be there..and it looks amazing
Have any of you seen the moment in which some guy jumped up on stage and shook Buckethead's hand? It is on Youtube..it was during a concert in Virginia. |

Used to enjoy his stuff more a few years ago, but the music he creates is starting to seem quite lazy after every new release. It's like, all he does now is come up with new riffs, and that's all the personality that the songs will get. Then slapping the segments together to create a simple song. Or then he will make the sort of experimental noodling that only he understands. But who am I to judge his artistic vision...
In any case, I still enjoy listening to Colma, Electric Tears, Monsters and Robots, The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock and various songs from some of his albums. |

I rather enjoy his new stuff. Electric Sea and Look Up There have been some of my favorite pieces of instrumental music in the last few months.
I will love just about anything he releases, fanboi 4 lyf <3<3 |

enough with the Monti albums
enough with drum programming
enough with the formulaic music that comes with it _________________

I think Monti is here to stay for awhile. You don't create a new website for this whole Pikes series and then stop collabing like that. I have a feeling that Buck is set in his ways. Same setlist, same formula. When it's not the formula, it's pointless noodling.
I say the duo gets with Brain and makes something fresh. It's possible, if they were to go to Bucketheadland roots and think up a new concept. A concept like Island of Lost Minds or Inbred Mountain. Come on, is it that hard? Just give me something heavy and crazy, but with some thought put into it. _________________

Way to bring up an old thread, me!
Went and saw Buckethead in St. Louis, MO tonight. It was amazing, so glad I went. Definitely a concert I would go to again. _________________

The way he branded his way into the industry is very successful. Have to give Buckethead props for this! _________________
