Sup SH,
Does anyone have a definitive answer as to why the Kramer Striker controller existed for the PS2 port of GH3 while the other three console copies had Les Pauls?
Licensing probably wasn't an issue; RedOctane had already used the likeness of Gibson guitars from the very beginning for their controllers, and Kramer was swallowed up by Gibson some time in the 1990s.
Perhaps they knew people would need an extra incentive to play it over the 7th gen editions and tried to differentiate it from them. I'm really not sure. |

The decision might have been part of a market test to see how well different controller designs were received by the public.
