First of all, I must apologize for the ambiguous subject, but this issue is a bit difficult to describe. Hopefully it will become more clear as I try and explain it further.
1. Procedure
Pressing the "Manage Scores > Hard" links returns me to the home page. This only happens the first time I am on the site per browser load. Note: I have the site remember my login, and so am already logged in when I pull up the home page.
2. Expected Behavior
Clicking on Manage Scores followed by selecting Hard should take me to the table of my uploaded songs, as it does normally.
3. Actual Results
Clicking Manage Scores and Hard returns me to the homepage. Also I have noticed that when this happens it clears new topics for me in the forums.
4. Suggestion (optional)
I'm not entirely sure what is causing this behavior, but I would think it has something to do with the fact that I am already logged into the site on first page load. It seems as if the site doesn't realize that I am logged in and so returns me to the homepage while logging me into my account.
If you need this described in anymore detail I would be glad to assist you. _________________

It happens to everyone. I don't make that big a deal out of it really. _________________

To explain, this will occur whenever your login session expires. If you leave a page open for a long time and then come back while (you appear to be) logged in and click a link or refresh the page, it will redirect you to the home page to re-process the login from the cookies stored on your computer. To fix this I could incorporate a login module embedded within every page so that the login could be processed from anywhere, but for now this is not the case. Hopefully this isn't much of a problem, but if you find it really annoying or something let me know and I'll bump up the priority to fix it. _________________

No worries, I just didn't know if it was only me or if everyone was experiencing this and wanted to make sure you were aware.
I'm sure you have plenty of more important things to worry about ahead of this minor annoyance.
The most annoying part though is that it clears the forums as if I had read all of the new posts. _________________

My experience may be unique in this case, but it happens to me mere seconds after I login. My normal routine is: Login, click on "Manage Scores", click on a difficulty level, login again, click on "Manage Scores" again, click on a difficulty level again, then it works OK. (until the next session)
Doesn't matter whether I'm accessing from home (broadband connection using NetScape) or from work (T3 connection using IE).
I don't consider this a major problem, just something I have to remember to do each time I want to update my scores. |

That's really strange. Does anyone else have this problem? _________________

Happens to me also. Sometimes I also get logged out when I go to the "rankings" page from some other page and have to log in again. _________________

ditto, but i think firefox isn't as smooth as IE, it seems a bit dumber, but there is less risk of viruses and spyware on FF, which makes it better |

Sometimes, as in when you've been idle and your session has expired, or everytime after you first login as Darkwing mentioned? _________________

I had been idle, but I was able to go to some other pages beforehand. Here is what happened.
1. Woke up, hadn't looked at scorehero since yesterday
2. Clicked on my scorehero bookmark which takes me to the front page
3. Clicked on the forum, read all of the unread posts
4. clicked on "Home" again
5. clicked on rankings
6. clicked on "Easy"
7. I'm logged out. _________________

When this happened did it link you back to the Home page instead of loading the rankings page? or did it load the rankings and indicate on the top-right corner that you were logged out?
Also, are you using cookies to remember your login or not? _________________

It loaded the rankings and indicated i was logged out in the corner. I do use cookies. _________________
