I don't really like any one team outside of the Jets in the NFL that much, so I just cheer for the team I picked in my office NFL pool (Tied for 1st place in week one, baby!).
Either way, go OHIO STATE!!! _________________

Yeah, I agree with the OSU thing... (Ever think there's too many OSU's in college ball? I mean, c'mon, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Oregon State, they (those covering the games) could at least come up with different abbreviations to cut down on confusion.) But probably for a different reason, I just don't like Texas all that much. Not that I really follow college ball until near the end of the season to try to figure out who the Bears are taking this time around. I just love it, though, when teams are taken down a peg or two. _________________

this right here is all the proof you need of the Bears failing to live up to expectations. Rex Grossman?!?! |

well, they did win the division with orton, who i think had about a 65.0 passer rating for the season. put ANYONE else in there, and who knows? a 29-21 loss in the playoffs may well have been a win. |

like i said earlier, someone could easily win the NFC north at 8-8, or even 7-9. winning the division doesnt mean anything when you play in the NFC North. the bears are the team to beat in the division, but they are not a super bowl contender. |

saying this about the best defense in the league and possibly the millenium.
NFC North is a given, but i seriously think they have a really great chance at winning this year. They made it one game from the super bowl last year with the worst offense ever, i think they will be fine this year |

Hey, it isn't our fault that you guys were the Penn State Overrateds this year. Just kidding. <3 Paterno. I really respect Penn State. I hate Michigan, though. _________________

I would've never guessed by the preseason that Grossman would look like a top of the line quarterback through the first 2 games. It's good to see that he has already about 25% of the passing yards and about half of the touchdown passes the bears offense had all of last year. haha. It should be a great season. |

Just be grateful you're in Japan... I had to make my way home afterwards, wearing my Kearse jersey. Luckily I was not burned in effigy. _________________
