Oh, and Bune, the DLC has GOT to be there. Look around some more. I downloaded them on the day they came out, and have been very pleased with their quality.

I've never liked Neversoft long before GHIII. When I first heard they were making GHIII, I was REALLY worried. After awhile though, it started to look very nice. Then, more stuff was released, and thought, "It looks so amazing, how could they mess this up now?" Then, after buying the game, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The PS2 version (althought not Neversoft's fault) is full of bugs, and the PS3 version is being pretty much ignored. I'm hoping in the next few weeks, that some patches and DLC are released for PS3, or I'm going back to GHII PERMANENTLY. There is absolutely no reason for DLCs not to come out on both systems on the same day. It's very unprofessional for a company to favorite one system over another when the game they made is for more than one platform. |
Part in bold is what i'm replying towards, but I agree with the rest of your post as well. =P From playing on the ps3 guitar that I have, and playing on the 360 guitar my friend has, I can agree with the fact that I was getting all my misses on easier songs because of the guitar, and not because I was sucking. XD At least I can see clearly why the rankings of gh3 expert are so different, whereas 360 has twice as many more 100%'s as the ps3 rankings on expert. >_> Bringing up the lists now...
As of right now, these are the top scores for the ps3 on the LEFT, and the top scores for 360 on the RIGHT:
5-Stars: 69 of 70 5-Stars: 70 of 70
6-Stars: 4 of 70 6-Stars: 20 of 70
7-Stars: 3 7-Stars: 20
8-Stars: 2 8-Stars: 5
100%: 33 of 70 100%: 65 of 70
Known FCs: 30 of 70 Known FCs: 64 of 70
Total Score: 22,403,420 Total Score: 24,353,832
That's how you know the flaws are in the guitar, 34 more FC's on 360 than on the ps3, and I know that the people who play on ps3 expert that are in the top rankings don't suck horrendously to not be able to fc at least 50 of the songs... i'm sure even you and Lo7 would have a great difficulty 100%'ing a lot of songs on the ps3 due to the crappyness of the guitar. =/ Whereas if you two played every song on the ps2/360, you'd have maybe 67/70 songs 100%'d. =S Just trying to clarify that the ps3 guitar either needs to come out wired to prevent lagged missed notes, or they just need to fix what's wrong with the wireless guitars by changing it to bluetooth or something. =/ Btw, upload scores for the rest of the songs for the ps2 already. XD

they are making a bluetooth guitar in, but it won't be released until februrary.

Yea, that's what I read up on gamestop's site when I searched for g.hero merchandise and it said release date was sometime in February, but I didn't look into the info enough to see if they mentioned blue-tooth or not. =/

I downloaded it the day it came out so I know it's supposed to be there too but I just can't find it anywhere. Seriously, when I look under the "show all" listing and go to G, it's just the trailer. Oh? You already downloaded the packs? Hrm...I guess I'm just a little confused by your choice of words. That happens a lot with me. *shrugs*
If you're looking for the packs under the listings in the Playstation Store, they don't show up there if you've already downloaded them. If you've already downloaded the packs, then you probably still need to install them. You can access them under the same header/category/thingy that the GH3 disc icon is in. Installing them automagically adds those songs to the "Downloads" tab in-game.
If I'm still WAY off the mark, sorry. ^_^;

If you have already downloaded the Foo Fighters and Velvet Revolver pack you will not be able to see it in the PSN store ever again, because why would you need to d/l it again if it's already available to you? >_> Just thought i'd clarify that for everyone, only those who HAVEN'T already downloaded it are able to view it in the store. =S Also, like I stated below him in response, it shows that on GameStop's official website, search for guitar hero and it should show up that the bluetooth guitar will be available sometime in February [it says an actual date but I cbf to go and check]. Also, I might've just not checked into the site that much for Rock Band, but how does that guy [from the link in tbune's post] already have it for the ps3 if it hasn't come out yet? Unless he means he played the demo on a ps3 at one store and on a 360 at another, but then how is he explaining the ps3 controller not being compatible unless he already owns the game for home use [unless he tried using it at the store]? O_o

oh it's not a problem. Basically, what I was trying to do was find the boss battle pack (this was before I found out that it's not available on the PS3) and just happened to notice I couldn't find the old packs on the network.
I figured it out though: once you buy something it's no longer listed in the store. der. 
edit: yeah, I found that out by looking online. Thanks though.
As for the guitar, are you sure you're not talking about gamespot? because I can find nothing on gamestops site.
as for him having the game, plenty of stores have broken street date. look on youtube for videos. |

Thats not entirely true, the only song that seems that hasn't been 5 Starred is Helicopter, but when you click into the song it has been 5 starred, numerous times.

You bolded the wrong thing, I wasn't talking about 5-stars, I was talking about 100%'s. 100%'ing stuff with the ps3 guitar is infinitely harder than with the 360 guitar, even though they're both Les Paul. I 100%'d Raining Blood medium first try on 360, but it took me close to an hour to 100% it on the ps3 because I kept getting bs missed notes on the easy parts becuz the guitar decided to lag and not register the strum.... btw strum bar works fine because I made sure by playing Knighs of Cydonia expert and I didn't miss in the runs except when I hesitated and switched to the next fret too early, xD.

| I downloaded all the songs, the foo fighters pack, the velvet revolver pack, and the boss battle pack, but sometimes after i play the songs and save my scores....when i go to play it the next day...my scores are not there....and its only for the downloaded songs for GH3, it always saves my scores for GH2 downloadable songs (this is all for the xbox 360 of course)...anyone...any ideas? |

| Curious as to if/when DLC will come for the PC version. Menu in it has a downloadable content selection, but only says "coming soon" but that may just be residue from the 360 port. |
